Which engine oil used by service center, 0w20 or 5w30? If they are using low HTHS and low kinematic viscocity oil in punch engine then there will more oil consumption than normal.

I own a Punch and criticism isn't bad but how people take it depends on their IQ. Personally I've not faced any issue after 1 year of usage but the service centres of Tata definitely needs to upgrade otherwise they can lose a lot of existing customers.

My Alto completed 90,000 km We are three members drive it. Model 2011 Not a single drop oil consumption. Still run 300 km non stop at 100 kmph. Maintenance cost is less than a bullet bike.

Usually the first service oil drain will lesser because some of the oil is stick to engines components and can’t be drained moreover some of it is within circulating lines but I feel this can’t account for more than 500. But more than 1ltr less drain might be turbo is consuming oil .

Same i10 1.2 kappa 2011 model engine power amazing h... Or koi noticeable amount oil nahi consume karti.. Only 45k km driven.... Engine wise Hyundai cars are much satisfactory then tata & other brands✌

Yes 3 cylinder engines consume oil more. But not even that much. Suggestion- put a camera inside cylinder through spark pkug route . Rest u know bro.. love from jammu

There are two things here During oil change some oil will be left in the engine 100% oil will not come out Another is if the oil was not filled all the way upto max level Capacity is 3.5 liter even if you fill 3.0 liter it is okay. Next time you can do a change yourself and be sure Another part is change interval 15k in our conditions is too long an interval It will degrade and make oil more viscous

Usi ke chances zyada honge life save karne ke... Baki engine pe compromise kiya ja skta hai... Usme bhi aisa nhi hai ki zero engine hai.... High speed me bhi chalne kabil hai.

Same problem here i have i10nios petrol no turbo 2021 , i am using 0w20 grade oil at 8000km. I think 0w20 oil is responsible for this problem.

Use 5W30, your oil consumption would drastically reduce, any grade 20 oil is way too thin, the only reason companies are using lighter oils is because that translates to better mileage due to lesser pumping losses in engine

Sir just faced same issue in tata tigor icng ,7500kms second service oil was 2.1 litre, the 1.4 litre was missing so they changed tappet cover and its running fine now, the next update of you car sir

My 2017 tiago with 40000 kms on odo this same revontron engine doesn't burn any oil even after 10k. I change oil every 8-10k kms. No drop in oil level at all...

Sir humare yahan to tata wale drum wala oil dalte hain ..jaar mai bhar k... Or mujhe ye b lagta hai ki wo thoda km oil daalte hain... Same aysa hi Enfield wale b karte hain... Enfield ki service to mai ab local workshop se hi karwata hoon ... Ab gadi ki b bahar ho karwani ... Maine koi fayda nahi service centre se service karwane mai...

Mineral oil 🛢️ every 10k km per 1Ltr tak kam ho skta hai, fully synthetic oil 800ml evry 10k km tak kam ho skta hai. Or new car me suru me thoda kam hi niklega. Uske baad 1 lack km tak ok rhega uske bad fir 1 ltr tak kam niklene lgega

15000 km service interval is too much specially for new engine. Even a good fully synthetic engine oil wont last 15000kms…7000-8000km is good for normal mineral and semi synthetic oils.fully synthetic lasts not more than 10k kms. Next time put a good quality fully synthetic oil of the recommended grade by tata and change it at 10k kms .U have extended the service interval too much thats the only reason of oil consumption no other cause is there even if tata recommends 15k km interval it is too much that way engine wont last long.

If 3.5L is recommended then one should put 3.2L only. All dip stick levels should be between low and medium not over that to get best performance of vehicle. Companies do mention the same in their technical manual however there is lack of awareness among general public. By the way why don't this guy use his scan tool to identify how much engine has gone week.

नमस्कार कार की शौकर माउंटिंग किस तरफ की टूटी है यह शौकर बिना खोलें कैसे पता किया जाए। मेरे पास एस्टीम वीएक्सआई है और उसकी लेफ्ट साइड से बहुत हल्की wobble साउंड आती है विशेष बात यह है की यह आवाज लगातार नहीं आती बल्कि ड्राइव करते वक्त कभी-कभी सुनाई पड़ती है फिजिकल इंस्पेक्शन कराने पर लेफ्ट साइड के आगे और पीछे के सस्पेंशन दुरुस्त पाए गए बस सॉकर माउंटिंग चेक नहीं हुई क्योंकि शौकर खोलने पढ़ते है समस्या यह भी है कि एस्टीम कार का सामान दुर्लभ है इसलिए सस्पेंशन बिना खोलें क्या यह माउंटिंग वीक या ब्रेक होना ह कंफर्म हो सकता है क्या? जिससे कि माउंटिंग पार्ट मंगाने के बाद ही सस्पेंशन खोला जाए। क्योंकि डाउट है सस्पेंशन खोलने के बाद अगर माउंटिंग पार्ट नहीं मिला तो सस्पेंशन की लेबर चार्ज अनावश्यक हो जाएगी

मेरी एस्टीम कार 15 वर्षों में मात्र 22000 किलोमीटर चली है उसके शौकर 2 वर्ष पहले बदल गए थे और तब से अब तक कार की रनिंग मात्र 4000 ही हुई है तो ऐसे में माउंटिंग का टूटा हो ना वीक होना भी डाउटफुल लगता है इसीलिए शो कर बिना खोलें इसकी माउंटिंग क्या चेक की जा सकती है
