Some ppl don't really understand the medical jargons...& other family members will ask what dr said during the visit too. So it's better for recording anyways for the ease of patient's families. But ...don't think any other countries can do recording at all.

KW 說得有理,縱然存心不良,也無奈何,何況凡事有兩面說辭,醫生在病歷上記載成了證據(官方電腦病歴系統不允許私人更改,但可附加更正或額外資料addendum),如沒有可信的反証如錄影音記錄(由於竊改容易且盛行,也不一定會被法庭採信),法院還是以病歴記錄為準.倒是沒人認真研究,這類在醫療過程錄影錄音的法律(法),倫理(理),禮儀(情)領域牽聯的問題,有沒想到也算是侵害醫護人員的隱私權.You are right about making recording during office visits and /or medical evaluations. In most cultures, this is considered rude and intrusion of privacy (without prior consent). Proliferation and convenience of smart phones may allure some with temptation of abusing the privilege of doctor-patient confidentiality.
