You did a good job! However, you’re still using self rising because carbonated water + baking powder = self rising. Normally self rising flour is a mix of baking soda and baking powder with all purpose flour! I’m just saying this in terms of health no offense pls! Happy new year to you all!

The problem is not with baking powder or carbonated water, the issue with the self rising flour is carbohydrates, it’s is white flour so what she did was amazing, she uses Teff flour relatively healthy grain and make it rise so she can get perfect results.
