Here in Burnaby BC Canada, we go to a nearby "Cha Chaan Teng" type restaurant. Here is what it cost for Hainan Chicken dishes, with rice is $11.50, 1/2 a Chicken $14.50 a whole Chicken is $27.00 CDN. But our chicken is no where as flavourful as the chickens in H.K. due to processing per GOVT. standards. For comparison, the wife and I will order the 2 person meal which consists of 1/2 a Hainan Chicken, a 2nd dish, soup & 2 bowls of rice. It will set us back between $48 - $53.00 incl tax & Tips (if we upgrade a "dish".) But we also save a few pieces for the dog too. In B.C. the min. wage is $16.75 per hour. (the minimal amount an employer must pay someone)

thanks for the support from Canada. It's really expensive to take a hannan chicken rice in your place, so Hong Kong is a food haven of the world which is not a joke. Although Hong Kong is not the cheapest
