This looks good, would love to try Nippon Kempo. But I don't understand this Japanese fascination with one hit stopping the fight. They have shown satisfying striking and grappling techniques, so why not just let them fight without interruption?? I mean, they're already wearing all this armor, why not?? Stay healthy and safe 🇧🇷
Depending on how they train sometimes the one hit is enough. My sensei would tell us to front kick the hard part at the bottom of the bogu. So eventually I had to use it outside of the dojo and I did a front kick to the same area we kicked day in and day out. The man folded so fast.

@@urfaceistoofunny I know that if we hit someone hard enough, they're done, did that already. But, if you get conditioned to this framework, where you stop once you land the strike and do not follow up with another one or progress to wrestle the opponent, you are gonna develop bad habits. And get overwhelmed by a, trained or not opponent, that will not be stopped by one attack and will rain hellfire down on you with repeatedly vicious attacks, one after the other, till you done.

@@CabralNick oh yea I agree with you there! However, at least in my case. Our sensei would told us to take em out and make sure they are done before you walk away. I feel that it does depend on the sensei. My emphasized on taking the person out and running out away from the scene in case someone else pulls a weapon. It’s more likely to happen here in USA. So in this case most places do emphasize on the points and you can see that when they lower their guard alot after a flashy move. But for sure with us we don’t lower until someone is down. We call them finishing blows. But like you said if someone isnt prepared to finish the fight. The opponent will. I value my life more than anything and our sensei’s disciples make sure we take them out for good.
