How frequently do you replace the spring that attaches to the tension "comb"?

I can't give a general answer because I don't know how often it is used. If you feel uncomfortable with normal use, why not replace it?

@@kawataka1218 I'm mainly concerned with keeping the comb set to the fifth notch when the machine is not in use. I could set it to the first or second notch when not in use, but I'd rather just set it and leave it, unless I need to change the setting for a particular purpose.
