This is one of the best comparisons I've watched about these two guitars..By the way I have Epiphone es335 just the same color you play, and it's a great guitar..Good playing as well👍

I couldn't tell much difference overall. I liked the clean middle position on the Epiphone better.

Epiphone pickups are shocking. Which is odd as the parts they use are good. The winding is awful, the covers are cheap. There is a supplier in the UK who offers Nickle Covers, there was other guy offering a rewinding service. Having got an Epihone, i replaced the pickups and electrics, its now a great sounding Axe

@@85rockhound The Creamery pickups. There a UK based smaller pickup builder. I got the low volume output classic 50's.

I had Gibson Nashville 59 reissue ES335 before. A Tokai that has a narrow nut width that's too small for my hand. Got the Epiphone Inspired by Gibson Olive Drab ES335 and love it! Great build and quality. Better than the Nitro finish on the Gibson. Swapped out the pickups for some Gibson burstbuckers I have lying around. Changed the 3 way switch and input jack to Switchcraft while at it. The Gibson has slightly better clarity and high. Nothing wrong with the stock pickups though
