ドイツの「英語を勉強しよう」っていうCMで、沈没中のイギリス船の「We are sinking! WE ARE SINKING!!」というSOSを傍受したドイツ海兵(?)がたどたどしく「Uh... What's are you sinking about...?」(「What are you thinking about?」
I couldn't focus on today's Cambly lesson, being obsessed with the idea of the teacher wearing the little school uniform we can see in the back. Oh wait, it's nothing weird because sailor suits were originally designed for navy soldiers :-)
You said some people posted the comments why are you trying to be a native speaker when you posted the KZbin video about you asked three native speakers to assess your English, but I want you to be proud of yourself. I was personally impressed by that video and I respect you because you still try to improve even though you speak English almost like native speaker. At first, I didn’t like your video because you seemed bossy though. 😂

I wonder why it's so hard to get close to the natives if we have different genetic skeletons and movement patterns? I was wondering. I believe that since English is mostly pronounced in a way that is echoed by the back of the mouth, throat, and tongue, and since the Asian skeletal structure is for long, horizontal pronunciation, we need to work on our muscles and abdominal muscles in order to be close to native English speakers. I feel that in Japanese, there are many words that can be pronounced without tongue movement or echoing in the back of the throat. I think it would be more understandable if we could visualize the movement of the muscles in the oral cavity while measuring the depth of the movement. However, Atsu's English is already excellent. ↑ This sentence was translated with a translation application because I don't speak English since I am of Japanese only genes. I am sorry if there are any mistakes.

@@franceskudou951 日本人かよwふつーに外国人だと思って読んじゃったわ。でも the Asian~, a translation application~, I am of~とか見慣れない表現だな。まあ俺は簡単な英文しか読めないから間違いとは言い切れない。

the huge hurdle makes us speak english fluently i think is that english is such a language that there are differences btw what it is written and how native speakers read it loud, for instances liaison you mentioned. And it is most obvious when they mumble. They dont pronounce as it should be, and even with that vague pronounciation, they make them each other understand. Therefore, to be able to mumble is my dream i am chasing. In terms of that, if you have any tips you used to overcome this obstacles, can you share that with us please? Thank you

ホームステイした時、roomieにthirteen hoursって言いたかっただけなのに理解してもらえなかったの思い出した you say "a", not "r"的なこと言われて、多分thaateenみたいな発音になってたんだろうな
