Tokyo gubernatorial election 2024 Watch my cute political campaign broadcast. This is Airi Uchino's political campaign broadcast. I added subtitles to the commercial version. Airi Uchino's KZbin channel ↓ / @airichance
So she did it twice? Same speech or different for each one?

@@Daniel-bn2lm This is because the rules state that two types of programs must be recorded, one for a private broadcasting station and one for a public broadcasting station, and then broadcast separately. Since each has a different audience, it seems that she recorded the two versions with slightly different content.

The class president election is more serious than this. XD

i thnk so. In our country, the ruling party deliberately and farcically selects the president. There is no will of the people in that. This is one of the big problems in Japan.
As a South Korean, what I thought during this part of the broadcast was... "What in the world she was doing...? I immediately frowned my face, because it's a series of campaign clips, i.e. political place that people mention their election pledges, but there wasn't any of them in her video. And WHY SHE PUT OUT HER UPPERWEAR?!" Well... in conclusion, it was totally, TOTALLY nonsense, that I couldn't help laughing at her...

Thank you for your thoughtful comments. I think it's natural that you would have such an impression. But why did she give such a speech? The problem lies in the current situation where problems with Japan's electoral system are being ignored. The reality in Japan today is that only certain candidates, either by pandering to the media or through the power of money, control politics. Simply put, the media and the government collude to brainwash the people, and only a select few upper-class citizens benefit. It is thought that she gave this speech with the sole aim of attracting attention, including as an antithesis to that, and to get the roughly half of voters who do not go to the polls to take action.

As a Korean, I sometimes wonder if we really have the right to laugh at the situation of the politics of other countries. Our situation is also a mess. If not worse.
