You could start with your needle down in the dot spot and sew forwards to the edge cut the thread and start from the dot to the other edge. I am not a good reverser. Lol That would be a 5th way.

I'm new to quilting, and I have a question. When sashing and posting why are they all off line. They are cut correctly and sewn correctly but put together they don't line up, what am I doing wrong???

Check all your measurements. Sometime a block needs to be squared up and trimmed so all your blocks are the same measurements. Using those measurements, cut the Sashing to correspond to the block size and pin where needed. Doing these steps should assure accuracy. Don’t give up, quilting takes time to learn and become accurate. Start on smaller projects and make sure you are getting an accurate 1/4 inch seam. Best wishes.
