伸展台上，華麗衣服在鎂光燈之間穿梭。
台灣時裝產業裡，設計師是眾所矚目的焦點，也是服裝科系學生的夢幻職業，但你知道嗎？在他們競相追逐的過程中，台灣時裝產業的地基，卻也在一點一點地被掏空。

打版是都要會的，但大部分人不會特別去精進這個甚至去當打版師，哪件衣服不是掛牌子名字掛設計師名字的，打版師就一直被忽略

设计师再厉害，没有技术水平好的制版师，设计师的作品也得不到体现。再大牌的设计师，也实现不了他的设计理念。

前期投入成本高，要求多、常態賣肝、薪水少，到底誰要做？？這不是低不低就的問題，是生活的問題。 公司不願意培養新人，只想要找到的人本身已經具備所有要求技能，但同時只想付香蕉；工作沒有成就感、價值感低落，再有熱忱也是會消磨殆盡的，斷層是剛剛好的結果而已。

服装制版是服装工程中技术含量最高，也是最重要的工作。没有制版师，设计师设计的服装就无法体现出来，缝纫工人就没有衣服缝制，哪里还有服装可言。

1). No wonder in my 1st year in Shih-Chien/The Family Education & Childcare major, the 2nd semester already has 6 from Fashion Design major transferring to our class and we only have 1 transfer to the Accounting. 2). I asked one of the transfers why? she said: summertime need to make wind coat and wintertime need to make winter coat, she also showed me the top our uniform she made by herself which I see it's perfect, but she swings her head said to me: She can't stand. 3). Really not major need to be gifted, and in my family, my 4th sister's eldest daughter/Roxanne Yao she graduated from Shih-Chien Fashion Design major in the night class. Right now, she is in the USA and working for the freight transfer this field. And each time after she stayed in my place, she always will buy me gift/clothes for thanks, really, she knew how to dress me up from the gift she gave to me. 4). Also, my eldest sister's granddaughter/Roe Yu Liu studied in Shih-Chien/Home Economic major, she has been sent to Shih-Chien after she finished her 5 years the other Home Economic school to Shih-Chine University. One of my best classmates/Wen-Yen Chang from Shih-Chien she lived in the dormitory, she told me: these from the Junior Home Economic college and send to Shih-Chien they are gifted better than us these through the Entrance Test of the University.

我讀的是夜校只有教最基本的打版，連立體裁剪都沒教.....離開了學校多年，現在連婦女原型都忘了怎麼打版了。 打版師少真的是因為台灣換泰太不重視人才了！沒有專門培養

打版師對比設計師工作技術門檻高薪水低還費體力,綜合下來沒人要做很正常,要有人薪水上去了人就會多起來....這麼簡單的事情很難懂嗎?要便宜又大碗?夢裡才有啦!

還以為設計師一手包辦，韓國也有一條龍，後端縫製的工廠也是中高年齡在做沒有什麼新血投入，誰還會做這些需要技術但薪水少的工作？

從會做要走到專業，是一條漫長的道路，要自我實踐，投資自己，穿自己訂製的衣服，這是最容易得到認同的

1). Like me: Shih-Chien/Family Education & Childcare major and I always like to wear nice clothes. 2). In the USA I will be shopping at I. Magnin, Robinson, these high-end stores, and before I have my son/Andy I wear size 7 and 1/2 and right now I am age 75, I wear size 8. the same thing as the shoes too. 3). Don't eat if I am not hungry, if I ate: when I feel full the rest I just put in the refrigerator. Body is very important to wear clothes, in the USA a lot of people they are overweight.

Also, from another sister of Shih-Chien/Rosa Chin Chang, she is the 3rd year of Shih-Chien she told me: Fashion Designer/Pieer Cardan came to Shih-Chien Fashion Show just pick up a male model and took him w/him come to the USA. 2). Rosa Chin Chang and our Milton Shieh wife/Lin they are classmates, one of the class re-union Ling told Rosa and Rosa and I met in the re-union she told me.

二十年前裁縫改衣服計件制很划算，那時時薪才60幾，改個兩個拉鍊就100了，現在時薪168了，一點做這些計件論一點都不划算

聽起來就是，薪水太低阿，版子要打得合身是一門技術，看到剛剛寫的起薪，我都傻眼了，就算學會也不會想走這途⋯⋯
