It looks good, but remember that streamers are trying out new fun decks, which tend not to be very aggressive. On ladder when you will face demon hunters and face hunters it won’t go too smoothly

This deck is only really good in 2 matchups: Combo or Control. Aggro decks will just win via speed as usual and most of the time a midrange deck and be played aggressively and win. It probably only shreds in early access since everyone wants to play Cthun, combo decks or Yogg.

It took a few days but someone played this deck against me today. Actually, went from not seeing it at all, to having around 3 Warlock players in a row que up against me playing this deck. I think in 2 games I went 1 and 1. The game I won he, surprisingly didn’t have any answers to one or two creature on the board when he was at 3 or 4 life or something. When my turn came I simply attacked with my creatures. Remember the days when ‘Twisting Nether’ was called ‘twist’, “I’ll twist this turn”. Then Defile came out and then no one played Twisting Nether anymore.

With all the new monetization Hearthstone has now, they should really allow us to have all standard cards unlocked. But make it so you have to have them crafted to use in wild. Or vice versa. But standard would be better as it would make it less pay to win.

Imo, cthun seems to be really really good. It gives you 4 nice little cards that actually do something useful and then a 30dmg blitz to the enemy and their board? A minion with a 30dmg battlecry that can be shadowstepped!? Eh, I would trade it in a heart beat for Tickatus, what an absolutely nutty op card.

Turn 8 do nothing > die? As a face hunter player, PLEASE play this. Makes my job much easier :P It's not a *bad* card just don't take games vs value/lategame decks as reality. Tikatus is straight up a liability vs aggro. If the meta is aggro, you can't really play it.

@@dushas9871 yes, literally. You're not affecting the board at all, on turn 8. You've either already stabilised and won, so this card didn't matter; or you die the second you make that play. The 8/8 body doesn't "exist" to aggro; they just hit over it since it doesn't have taunt and it's not worth contesting. The 5 milled cards don't matter at all to aggro maatchups, in both scenarios.

For 2 mana you can give it rush+divine shield\taunt\use removal\whatever else a top on the 8\8 body and milling 5 cards, or play it later and have even more options to go with,such as shadowflaming it for 8 dmg aoe and so on. Yet why would you play this card against aggro at all, is another question for you.

If by special you mean "do nothing on turn 8 and die" then sure :P It's only good vs value/control. If the meta is aggro, you cannot play this card. It doesn't even have taunt.

kripp, i think you are onto something only for as long as it takes others to establish the meta. thats when most decks drop off, and only five to eight competitively viable remain. thats when the game becomes unfun. experimentation gets punished, and overall game becomes trash until next expansion.

don't all the new fun decks just lose as soon as players find a way to Zerg you down on t4 t5 making any new expansion useless and as soon as Blizz add cards that slow down the aggro zerg players start whineing and the cards soon get a nerf yes molten giant deck may have been a cancer but decks like face hunter Highlander Hunter Libram paladin Soul Demon Hunter Small Spell Mage' is a plague 95% of my games are faceing them decks and yet they just get buffs each expansion makeing any card that's not aggro pointless seen as there to slow
