As a Malaysian, Jinn has very little knowledge of Malaysia. I think he is too long away from home. Diversity and racial harmony is still good. It's only politics and media that makes it look extremist. About the clothing rule, it's only applicable to official government buildings and Mosques.

I totally agree. Jinn doesn’t understand Malaysia.
Agree, i have watched a few episodes of him talking about malaysia, honestly i find his view rather shallow. I am not sure if its because he doesnt know much about west malaysia, given that he is east malaysian (if i remember correctly..) or he simply doesnt know malaysia much. Btw, he also quoted the island wrongly.. Semporna is the port town... The island is Sipadan. 😂

semporna is an island? lol. that tells how much he knows about his own country. anyway, this program focuses narrowly on Chinese speakers, which is why the people cant agree with the result. they have forgotten about muslims, as well as english speakers who dont speak chinese
After watching this show, theres only one word to describe "ignorance". You don't know what you don't know. The funniest part is the Taiwanese guy who declared Malaysia as undeveloped based on what he saw on train journey from airport is ridiculous because the airport is 1 hour away by car and as you go along it's residential suburbs. And being developed or not is more than shiny big buildings. If you go to any cities in europe you will find the same. Dont forget the country is much bigger than taiwan or Singapore so it is natural to have more greens and places they deemed as "undeveloped" ( if having forests is a new term to describe undeveloped). The only reason why Malaysia always get a bad reputation is because we arent aligned with the west so we get alot of slack for that. Propagated by the west via media. The country is actually a hidden gem. Food, people, places to see, quality of life, no natural disasters and weather. In terms if safety i dont feel unsafe at all. Some cities in europe are even more dangerous and i live in europe. So i am not surprised malaysia is no 1 as more people are experiencing it and discovering now. Its also top country where Chinese, koreans and japanese are moving to. If it surprises you, its Japanese's favourite retirement country
I love Malaysia - truely Asia
Actually malaysia is Not Underated. Tourists arrival to malaysia is only second to Thailand. Malaysia also attract a lot of foreign investors. Reasonable cost of living and have plenty of resources and land for expansion. Hk and taiwanese always think Japan as their bosses. Surprisingly no mainlanders as guest. Shame on the American woman. Outside Central and South America, malaysia is the next BEST place for retirement. None of the Asian countries come close. The taiwanese guest has no idea about world heritage Penang and Melaka, sandy beaches and the world's second and third oldest rainforest.
