Man, i don't know. Jyocho is a fantastic band. Flute and keyboard player making the band more colorful and the vocalist sound beautiful too. But there's something special about uchu conbini, i can't describe.

@@creamyj3888 Emi retired from her music career, I heard she went to university so I guess she has a normal job now Uchu Conbini split because of different points of view of the band's future
For some reason this video showed up on my recommendations, I plugged the headphones, lay down in bed with a soft purple light, a cigarette and without understanding a single word I felt goosebumps from the top of my head till the tip of my feet, this may be one of the greatest math rock bands I'll ever heard. The drums are amazing, the guitar tapping goes like crazy, the bass line it's incredible and for the vocals... It's just a straight up angel that came from the heavens to please your ears and change your sense of life. I've read that they split up and that the guitar it's on another cool project, it's sad that this band just have 2 albums, but damn, this is a complete gift to your ears

We are born, we laugh, and then we die. “Soon we shall return” And then we wait for sign of the end. Repeat. Things we can’t even see are taking a peek from the earth’s exterior Writing postcards to preach on you The sun has set, we have seen the same moon With a brighten up heart, right now Undoubtedly, we are unaware that we are leading to our deaths This is the kind of world that we are living right now Try and imagine that right now The beginning and the end are fused together Like drifting clouds, spread out our hands Everything can’t be stopped now The sun has set, we have seen the same moon This is the kind of world that we are living right now If that's not goddam beautiful then I don't know what is.

It's kinda weird to discover a new band, get fascinated and touched, and then immediately come to know that they've disbanded, and the vocalist has barely any presence in the media (or maybe she has and other comments failed to find her on some japanese SNS, that's like irrelevant and I won't investigate it it, just a thought). For me it's hard to understand/grapple(and cope , I guess) that people that can create such beauty can just stop, move on, leave the scene of public attention and appreciation for whatever personal reasons they have. And even though those reasons and circumstances are completely unrelated to me(more like I'm completely unrelated to their lives), I feel strangely overwhelmed by the imagined complexity of someone else's distant story of life.
@stevenlaczko86883 жыл бұрын
The writer of the lyrics and music, the guitarist of this band, Daijiro Nakagawa, already started a new band that is similar in a lot of ways, and I'm in love with it. Look up JYOCHO if you haven't found it already. I feel you though. That's a serious mood. Like, their lives are more complex than even this music, that they would leave it behind and move on to other things.
