The wind was blowing just right for this camera spot! Scary how fast the fire moves!

0:16 - fire starts 3:46 - first day passes 9:00 - second day passes 11:51 - fire extinguished

Either the wind did not quit on the second night (bad) or the fire had grown so big as to create it’s own weather (worse) or both 😳

The land is not dead at all. It's being reborn. Forests depend on a periodic fire to cleanse the detritus out, and some plants even reproduce only when there's a fire.
