Man, I love my tyre pressure monitoring system. Airing up/down I don't use a gauge any more just put it on the screen and the kids yell out when it gets to the pressure I want. Yes I have checked with a gauge and spot on, same, same. So glad I put them back in my new rims.

I haven't found any version of your Y62 with a manual transmission. I own it in Kuwait and use only rear wheel drive in a way to disconnect the electrical conductors, and the second is to install the motion retardants for the front axles in this way, only 100% power at the rear.

@TWX11383 жыл бұрын
there are some little boxes of dubious origin that transmit some kind of TPMS false data to satisfy the computer. I couldn't tell you where to get 'em but there are some videos on other makes/models where that has been done. I ended up throwing ACDelco 315MHz sensors that do basically all makes/models that use 315MHz into my Nissan Frontier so later I can install a pressure display that receives the Ford version of the data that these sensors emit. That will let me keep an eye on my tire pressures even when aired-down for 4x4 driving, because obviously the on/off dash light isn't going to tell me if I go from 15 PSI to 0 PSI like a numeric display would. If your truck is instead 433MHz that would be even easier, there are TONS of aftermarket solutions for 433MHz, but almost none for 315MHz.
@HappyGoTravel3 жыл бұрын
Thanks mate i'll sus it out, i did have the idea of putting the sensors in an air tight case and pressurizing it, i did fail with this idea though hahaha. I have all the factory sensors so worse case ill put them in.
@TWX11383 жыл бұрын
@@HappyGoTravel Putting the sensors in a case won't work, they don't start transmitting until they spin unfortunately. If you don't mind chalk lines, a good tire shop should be able to mark on the tire the position of the valve stem, break the bead just enough to replace the valvestem with the sensor, and then reassemble without requiring balancing again. The chalk mark is in case they do have to dismount more thoroughly, so they can put them back on in the same orientation. It should keep labor costs down if they don't have to balance again.

Important tip for all Y62 cars: Do not change asymmetric wheel sizes. A necessary example is that the 17 gauge for all tires does not have any problems, but if the front is 20 and the back is 18, then this is the problem when changing unbalanced, the maximum speed of the car is 129

My car is a Nissan Patrol Y62 2018 V8 400hp. I bought it from an authorized dealer with 18 inch weels, and now I want to change the weels size from [18 inch to 20 inch] . can I do that? Is there harmful or negative effects on the functions of the car system or double gearbox or anythins like that ?? Thanks
@HappyGoTravel2 жыл бұрын
Nice, they are great rigs ✌️ You can definitely put 20” wheels on if you want to. It is the tyre size that will create change. Standard tyre size is around 33” so you could put a 20” wheel with 33” tyres and there be no to minimal difference. The tyres in this vid are close to a 35” tyre, I have since gone to a 35x12.5r18 the patrol has no issue with them. Just keep in mide the bigger the tyre the more fuel you will lose and there is slight power loss being bigger and heavier, but nothing to bad.

Hey brother nice RIG! Can I kindly ask for the wheels, when you buy an 18x9 wheel does it have to be the exact PCD or centrebore as the default or can both PCD or Centrebore be far from the default, it's just I'm browsing the same tyre and it says that the Y62's wheel specs are - Center Bore: 78.1 mm - PCD: 6x139.7. So just wondering if I bought a wheel with this specs would it fit the y62 or should I get a number closer to the Center bore rather than the PCD? 18x9 6/139.7 18 1133 106.2 Thanks for your insight! Love the vids bro! Keep em coming
@HappyGoTravel2 жыл бұрын
Cheers mate ✌️ the PCD is the wheel studs so that needs to be the same. As for centre bore it can be bigger you’ll just put hub centric spacers in to compensate and get it to fit nicely with the hub. One thing to remember is the y62 has massive front brake callipers so alot of wheels won’t actually have the clearance with the back of the wheel face to fit. It’s best to test fit or talk with a tyre shop in all honesty.
