Y63 Patrol - Are You Ready Nissan?

This video isn’t to speculate what the Y63 Nissan Patrol would look like, it’s what I would want from Nissan as a previous owner of the Y62 and as an innovator in this space. The big question is, will Nissan listen?

Relocate the reversing camera to the middle of the tailgate, A fuel filling system that allows it to be filled !!! Not up to 20 ltr s short.

An additional model surely wouldn't be a bad idea either (Ti-X?) without the 3rd row of seats, flat rear area maybe even an aux battery too? Integrate UHF into head unit, brake controller as Dave said. Go part way of doing what most are doing to go touring in them!

G'day mate! You Aussies should not feel so left out with the Patrol interior, we have the same in S.A. The advantage is that technical difficulties are reduced and cd's need not be dumped.

No to the air bag idea as to many issues but for colour choise yellow or red would be great. Black oit kit from factory would be cool and a another leather colour option and your idea on the pressure for hbmc system you should look into that as a mod for the y62 as i think that could be another big thing

Good Video David, agree, no one is going yo know what the new Y63 is going yo be like until their about yo release it, Nissan needs to take what they have in the new Pathfinder about to be released here being the electronic dash, heads up display, infotainment system and captains chairs and shove it in the new Patrol. Regarding suspension, give it a greater GVM and greater GCM to at least 7500kg as well. Nice plug of the Toyota coffee mug too 🤣🤣 at the start. Mate what tow hitch you running on your car there.

Today y63 was spotted in UAE it was in y62 body for testing , they spotted different independent suspension, and they stuck y61 headlights in front and it was fully tinted so no one can spot the interior .

I just bought a new Armada here in the US. The interior is very nice I think they updated it last year 2021 I don't know why they didn't do that for the patrol. Nissan does some head scratching things we don't get the off-road goodies that you guys get but we have the nice interior updated infotainment looks really good

They did that for patrol in the middl east but I preferd the new LC300 coz of the new V6 turbo engine . However, I prefer Patrol if you r going to take long trips, and have large family since it's still more comfortable than the new land cruiser.

There are a few automakers who have an amazing opportunity to take advantage of Toyota's woes with shortage of vehicles, parts, etc. Nissan has the most to gain if they want to. Relying on the lower price can't be the only tool you have. Listen to what the loyal customers have been telling you. Most people would gladly pay an extra $5-10k for a few improvements and standard additions.

They're not built to handle Australian conditions and they are way too big for our infrastructure.. can't park them anywhere, take up the whole lane on the road and are way to thirsty for our fuel prices if you want to travel

25000kms completed in a 2021. I also do not tow! Increasing load ratings on the roof? Yeah, ok. Increase tow capacity? Why? Isn't 3.5t enough? For touring, I'd like to see an overdrive gear. The country is pretty flat, sitting at 1800 revs in 7th is silly stuff. I'd like to see a utilitarian model offered that is more bush proof on the inside. Cleaning carpets after going bush is a slow process. I'd like to see a single or dual cab model offered. I'd like there to be a choice of diesel or petrol engines, just to shut the haters up ☺️ I love my petrol V8! The rest can be modified individually to suit, except the head unit. Please God make this look like and work like something designed in the last couple of years, with connectivity that's been available for 10 years.

Nissan Australia fail to listen to the user base. If not for what David doing, pushing the Y62 i think it would have been a huge fail. Overall fantastic vehicle. But needs some things. Try reversing to hook up a Caravan, its horrible, camera is not squared up on the back. Needs to be fixed. The stupid park brake is next to useless, need to go back to the Y61 hand brake. Nissan Australia please live up to your warranty, and either change your Stealerships or get the better. Needs everything David has outlined.
