This was one of the best acting performances by the Legend Sir Anil Kapoor and Amruta Madam. The entire storyline was subtle and still hard hitting. The ending scenes bring tears to your eyes. Late Shri Utpal Dutt played the role of a father who is tough on the exterior and very soft inside. They don't make movies like this any more...This song was a favourite of mine. Late Bappi Da and Janaki Madam sung it really well, expressing the youthfulness into their respective voices. No wonder it was such a hit then and even now!!!

This used to lighten up my mood whenever it came on doordarshan chitrahaar. What a change from the boring romantic/sad/slow songs that were quite the norm then. 0:40 makes one think they are sitting in Trafalgar square or similar. Not only is this number peppy with an upmarket international feel to it, the comic timing and expressions of Amrita & Anil also add a nice touch. Those were the days!
