Did you notice in a later episode that spongebob's upgraded spin you have also reflects projectiles like the goop from the flying guys? Because that's a thing you can do.

+CT3LA Also upgraded moves do double damage as well as added effects. And I don't know for sure but I think if you walk into tnt it sets off the fuse so you can back away and have it detonate without hurting you, if that makes sense.
