One thing I love about both Ichikawa and Kikoru’s relationship with Kafka is just how much faith they have in him. Everyone else in the 3rd Division rookies were inspired by Mina and are chasing after her, but for those two - particularly Ichikawa - Kafka is their hero, and it has everything to do with who he is as a person, not his power as No. 8.

We know and love Kafka because he is a nice guy, but all of us don't know a single thing about the Kaiju inside of him lol.

There is no "Kafka body." He and the symbiote have their minds in the kaiju core, and the rest is just what one of them wants their body to be. So there isn't any "take out the core" as that is basically his true body. If the core isn't destroyed, it can just regrow another "Kafka body" or "Kajui #8" body. And Shinomiya had the very ironic experience of the guy she has a crush on beating the shit out of her dad. That can't be very likely given her family.

Kaiju .6 is actually the King of Kaiju. Guy singlehandedly changed an entire nation through sheer force of will. The name is spoken with infamy amd his weapons have NEVER seen action. Fortitude of 9.7 man was able to alter the weather through presence alone amd commandes a horde of 6.7-7.5 fortitude Kaiju with his power

Personally, I think it's great that Isao pushed Kafka's limits. Not because he was being stubborn. Yes, Kafka saved a lot of people and allowed them to detain him like that for a week. But I think that was not enough to prove himself. After all, the recent kaijus that appeared after Kafka possessed this kind of 'intelligence' that can deceive humans. Kaiju No. 9 was learning and was blending with humans. And tbf, I think that Kaiju will be able to learn more. Unlike Kaiju no. 10, Kaiju no. 9 assesses his situation, plans for it and escape if he knows he's at risk. In a normal human's point of view, Kafka 'could' be the same as Kaiju no. 9. We only know Kafka is a good person as viewers because we can read his mind :v But if somehow we can't read his mind, then we can't ignore the possibility that the kaiju that possessed him was 'maybe' way more intelligent and was controlling Kafka to blend in with humans by doing good deeds to achieve some kind of hidden agenda 🤷 Not saying, that is whats happening, just saying, for people who can't see or read Kafka's mind and his real intentions could think this way 👌 Since kaiju's are becoming intelligent.
