Let's remember that Sylphie always saw poligamy relationships as normal because she knew Paul and the family. Also in that world the poligamy is like "normal", the only problem would be if the partner are not okay with it or if they are Milis church (religion) followers. Rudeu's Mom was a follower, that's why she was so mad at Paul and Aisha at the start. At the last point, you can def get taken advantage of by someone smaller than you... Being a man isn't enough to just brush it all out, but at least you didn't got a traumatic experience like that.

Turning Point 3 was a real Turning Point...when you compare it with the Rudy from the time he choose to go to the school to fix his downstairs. Small changes...Rudy is still selfish (he wanted a 2nd wife so breaking his promise to Sylphie) but also selfless when he choose to save his "not real" "parents". I thought this then when I read the web novel and I still think this now with the end of the anime, but Norn's outburst/rant was genius writing on Rifujin's part. Norn addressed what most people would say if they had the same chance in that situation. But it also gave an opening for Sylphy as a character to defuse that argument and redirect it. Morality aside, the author knew how to tell this story without breaking the characters.

They said it how it was, Rudy cheated on his wife and even Norn pointed it out and both Rudy and Roxy were prepared to take accountability. He's just lucky to have had Sylphy as his first wife who's already exposed to the concept of multiple wives through living with the Greyrats, being exposed to royal marriage politics and also probably heard about her grandmother's multiple partner situation through her father. So if anyone would've allowed it it would've been Sylphy, who even brings up the idea of concubines and multiple wives early on in part 1 of season 2.

Maybe I need to read the scene in full to understand the context, but I think that line would be out of place in the anime's adaptation. Sylphie was calm, soft, but straightforward when she started speaking. That gave the air of her really considered everyone's feeling at that moment, her own, Roxy's, Rudy's and Norn's. To speak aggressively-ish to any one at that moment might give the idea of putting down Norn's feelings when, as part of the family, her opinion should at least be heard.

The scene was adapted as the shopping trip in S2E7. Sylphie had already determined herself to become the mediator, should Rudeus get three or more wives. then she dismissed the whole idea since she saw becoming his wife to be a pipe dream. Barely a year later, she's married to him. Some half-year after that, the scenario is coming true. Sylphie absolutely radiates the air of a matriarch. In the shot where she welcomes Roxy, she stands the tallest in the room.

Rudy just gave her that title because that's her best trait. It doesn't mean she shows the most amount of love. She actually pales in comparison to Roxy's and Eris' love. If we're talking about love in bed - Eris is the best. However, Roxy will stay young and keep her libido all the days of Rudy's life. Meanwhile, Eris and Sylphie get less interested as they grow old. If we're talking about love in a nurturing sense - Roxy is the one pushing Rudy to be a great mage. She also makes him feel safe. Sylphie makes Rudy weak and dependent, that's why Paul had to separate them as kids. If we're talking about love as a sacrifice - both Roxy and Eris are willing to die for Rudy and will not hesitate to jump in to save him.

@samgyupsal-n1c okay, and? RUDY didn't even think of searching for his family, all sylphie would've done was get killed. she was a regular kid when the teleportation event happened. Roxys a fully realized mage and adult, and Eris was trained by Ghislaine and Ruijerd, wtf was sylphie suppose to do? Also, "absent in all of Rudy's most challenging trials" is crazy after seeing her be the sole reason he was able to overcome the mental turmoil Eris put him in literally THIS SEASON.

The taking advantage thing Roxy tried to emphasize as a means of having Rudeus let her go. If we want to be uncharitable, Sylphie drugged Rudeus because she couldn't wait to have him in bed. With Eris it's a whole lot more complicated. She went to bed with him in order to have him stay with her rather than setting off immediately to look for his mother, but during the act she had her epiphany and realized that in order to fulfill her goals, she can't stay with him. The only thing she did wrong was pre-empt him from arguing back by leaving and writing that poorly-written note. It's the same as Paul knocking Rudeus out so he couldn't talk his way out of things.

Some of the stuff left out /changed the last few episodes • they convinced rudy to take roxy in by telling him she was pregnant • roxy was going to leave rudys room but he told her to stay (he was the one pushing her down) •they could make it back home with rudy depressed • when there was 2 heads left rudy decided witch one paul should attack (adds to his regret cuz going for the other one could have ended different) • sylphy telling norn to "be quiet"(shut up) Btw seems the changed stuff was by the author (his decision)

the final scene with the season 3 announcement said something along the lines of "in order to protect my new found things precious things, I must fight the impossible" which is major foreshadowing to what goes on. get hyped for season 3 cuz it will be adapting the best light novels of the series.

What I think the regret Hitogami was talking about has already come to pass but Rudy hasn't realised it. Had Rudy not gone to save Zenith then Paul and the others likely would have eventually found her then called for Rudy to come help while they thought up a plan. However, as Rudy was there Paul was desperate to save her, so if Zenith does die or is dead Rudy wouldn't blame himself, so they rushed in without having a solid plan or resupplying. It would have likely taken Paul and the others a few years to find her but if Rudy grows at the same rate he has then he would have been able to 1-shot the dungeon boss. On the other side had Rudy not gone to help then Roxy would have died alone as the party wouldn't have found her, she only survives because Rudy could sense her magic. No matter what choice Rudy made during Turning Point 3 either Paul or Roxy die. However, I think Hitogami has made a mistake about Rudy's mindset and maturity as I don't think Rudy would have regretted this decision no matter what. Like he said, what he feels is sadness not regret and I don't think that when he realises he basically sacrifiiced Paui for Roxy he's going to feel regret, just more sadness.

I want to say that the things Norn said were wrong and mean toward Rudy, Roxy, Aisha and Sylphie she is the only follower of Millis in this house its Sylphie's decision not hers. Its like his catholic sister would scream and judge him because her brother says he is gay or trans, she had no right to say that. She had no right to say anything before Sylphie sayed her part, also before someone says something how its wrong its not its a fantasy world. Only Millis has one wife rule and the reason Norn is a Millis follower is because her horrible grandparents (they were insulting Aisha saying she shouldnt be alive and werent taking care of her) that were taking care of Norn and Aisha while Paul was looking for Zenith.
