Alice is pronunced Arisu and Usagi in Japanese means rabbit. The serie is incredible because it gets the audience engaged until the very end of the game, making them think and come to their own conclusions. It’s like we play these games with them (I would have died on the first game 100% 😅).

I can get why you'd think it's weird for them not to consider it in the beginning but I don't think it's self-centered. From their perspective nothing really happened when they went from normal life to this new world. One second they're in a bathroom stall or a shower or a room and then the next everyone is just gone. They're still in a familiar location however and in the EXACT same place they left. Why would they consider it was them that had been transported?

They already did good with this genre for long time (battle royale, kaiji, liar game, as the gods will, etc). You can check those film/dramas if u like this genre.
