Just like when reading the manga, I got goosebumps. Shigaraki's va is elite. Seeing him become a true villain, because of everyone rejecting him is truly sad. All For One was the only one who supported him, and he led him down a dark path. He's the chosen one, he's awaken, and it's wraps 😭💀

Dabi is about to turn Hawks into an overcooked chicken I like how last episode, Fatgum was like, "We don't have to worry about Gigantomachia. Shigaraki's asleep." Then that boy literally rose from the dead because of his dream. Which ironically sounds like something that would happen to a hero. The villain would normally push them to their limits before they have some sort of inner monologue and flashback in their head. Then they come back with a renewed spirit. But Horikoshi loves to take common tropes and have the villains use it instead. And now, it's *his* turn It's just a visual thing but I like the idea that Deku's Vestige world was really dark and gloomy. But Shigaraki's is really bright but fragmented. I think his family appearing sort of represents his inner consciousness. The desire he had as a child to become a hero. All of his family, even his father, is trying to keep him away from AFO. And it makes me think back to his monologue during MVA. Where he thinks, if anyone besides AFO had reached out to him, maybe the itching he had would've stopped. Both tragedy and destruction made him into who he is. And now he's going to inflict that on the world.

Let’s begin todays analysis shall we? For starters, we have Keigo Takami. Aka Hawks. For this one to abandon his name as a child, (and we saw him training blind folded in the season 4 credits) means that it is even CRAZIER Dabi knows his name. Because Hawks CLEARLY doesn’t recognize Dabi. And there’s no way the guy was at any point in the same boat without the government catching a whiff of him. And Hawks is ABSOLUTELY out of the fight. He might be an Olympic athlete like every other hero, and also a freaking genius on top of it, but that serves him VERY little against those with similar skill ranges and still have their full arsenal of quirks. Puts him at a BIG disadvantage. He has no backup, no equipment, and has the person who has his weakness STANDING ON TOP OF HIM. And is NOT distraught in the face of his ally dying. Even if Hawks survives, the burns of fire like that, must be UNBEARABLE. Dabi TRULY takes the position of the new Stain. And the reminder of how much Stain’s chilling ideology shocked the heroes. Not just because he said it with such certainty, but because Stain was RIGHT. When he removed posturing heroes, crime rates fell from heroes being more wary, but also because the biggest posturers were gone. (Ingenium wasn’t specifically targeted, Ingenium found him, just a reminder) Dabi carries that terrifying will as his own, to remove fake heroes. But since Dabi had no issue blasting Deku back in season 3 (which is the cause of the burn on Deku that looks like a bear bit a chunk of his arm off) it’s hero animosity in general. He takes it further. And I can only assume there’s DOZENS of heroes that Dabi has a hit list for. Based on how he works himself up, that fire must be a lot more emotional based to get to his best. And as I mentioned before, Dabi is a sociopath. So forcing any emotion up when his emotions are so dulled takes immense effort. And I don’t think sadness is one he can really harness with burnt tear ducts. There’s a lot of instability in the fire AND Dabi in this scene because it’s not in his nature to act this way. The only true way to bring out the most raw emotions of a sociopath is their root. And people aren’t sociopaths at birth. So there’s a root to the dulled feelings. Normally trauma of some kind. Hit the nerve, and they EXPLODE. Then we got the Nomus and Mirko again. Just remember this about these super smart Nomu. They JUST woke up. They STILL aren’t fully stabilized yet. They FEEL awakened, but I can only imagine everything kicks up for them the longer they are awake. I can only imagine how fast it would pick up what the quirks are for its opponents when it’s fully awake. And I think Mirko got stabbed…4 different times this episode? (Guess I’m including the leg bite) And she’s STILL alive AND has enough pain sensation to understand how much Endeavor’s fire hurts?! That’s CRAZY that her adrenaline isn’t blotting out the pain! To have her quite LITERALLY using her head to top it off to crack the Shigaraki containment unit. She’s done fighting for today but she’s a BEAST for pulling this off as much as she did. Next we got Present Mic. Who I’m going to highlight more than the other heroes. And of course Dr. Garaki. Present Mic is DEFINITELY the most disgusted with these Nomu now. Just…the way he has been carrying himself is COMPLETELY different now and I love it. You just know Aizawa and Mic see EVERY one of these Nomu as a Shirakumo for SOMEONE now. And it’s probably more important they keep ANYONE else from seeing these freaks. Mic brought up his friend crying, so that’s gotta be Aizawa’s 10 minute interrogation of Kurogiri/Shirakumo. And WORSE, for Garaki to turn around and say, we didn’t even want Kurogiri. We wanted Aizawa for his erasure. I’m sorry I killed your friend, we got the wrong friend of yours! (Also AFO getting Erasure is another instawin move.) That feeling of disgust of how AFO and Garaki are the TRUE corpses here. 2 long dead men that have no right being in this world anymore. THAT feeling will stick with me for a LONG time. And let’s finish off on Shigaraki. 200 years. 200 years is how long AFO has been around. And you feel EVERY year standing before you in that scene within the space of AFO. And the strong presence of not just Tomura Shigaraki and AFO, but 2 other unexpected presences. Tenko Shimura, and Nana Shimura. You see how far Tomura has split himself from the event in his head, but his child like core is VERY much so still thinking about it all. He was a HUSK of a man before he remembered. And now that he does, he no longer needs the memory and decays each hand that he kept on him so the feeling never faded. (And Nana’s presence DEFINITELY being a lot more than a memory. Because that’s not a memory for him to recall. And that has a LOT of implication there.) All coming together to my favorite line of Season 5. “Choice to those without power, mercy to those that have sinned” he provides it ALL. THAT is the will of AFO. That is HIS conviction he uses to pull in MILLIONS of followers and how he TOOK OVER JAPAN all those years ago. To have that TRULY be fulfilled for Shigaraki in the perfect representation of his awakening. All For Shigaraki…has awakened.

Second, at 8:35 - THAT WAS ME, screaming at that part of the episode for sure! 😂 WELP! Shiggy’s awake. And he’s looking for his new drip … and a donor is right nearby … I’m with Roshi - this season’s animation (so far) has been the BEST I’ve seen on MHA, and that’s including the movies. The smoothness of Shiggy flopping out of the broken capsule, Mirko’s dodging, the inner hellscape of Shigaraki’s mind (or a near-death experience?) … award-worthy work from everyone at Bones!

Mirko should really be Number 1 Hero. If anyone deserves it, it's her. She got an arm twisted off, a leg bitten off, and got impaled through her ribs, and she's still going strong ready to rip Shigaraki's spine out his ass. Endeavor got hit in the eye once and he almost tapped-out. She's going up against like 8 Nomu, killed like three-four, and still going. Endeavor could barely handle one.

Endeavor fought against the completed and stabilized one, even the doctor explicitly confirmed it, mirko fought against 5 INCOMPLETE versions, killed 1 and got completely destroyed by the other 4 even she acknowledged that she couldn't land a hit anymore because they've awakened over time and they're completely out of her league by now. The one high-end with a completed body that endeavor fought would've instantly one shot mirko so stop disrespecting endeavor, endeavor is way ahead of her and is no.1 for multiple reasons

One thing I appreciate about S6, is the fact there wasn't any filler first episode to kill the momentum. I don't think S5 was that bad. It's the most flawed season for sure. The pacing was my biggest gripe. It felt so bloated with all the padding in the Joint Training arc. Flipping arcs around wasn't necessary and the two filler episodes (1st episode, movie tie-in episode) should've been used for the MVA arc.

the animation has been so badass this season and knowing whats to come its o ly going to get better. If I was X I would have been none stop firing lasers into his skull lol. Also i had no problem with the last two seasons they were both world building and character growth that a lot of shows just fucking off
