The anime is really doing Uryu justice and giving him huge shining moments he never had in the manga. When TYBW was announced, I never would’ve imagined that it would’ve improved over the source material by this much. Not only did they did show Squad 0 being defeated in a believable way unlike the manga, but they also gave Uryu one of the biggest feats in the series, by soloing a full powered Bankai Squad 0 member.

That means that they have the ability basically already maxed out, it’s just a matter of how they use it. Uryu got a jump in power because he has ywach’s ability, and since they’re connected to ywach, when he gets stronger, so do they.

Yhwach's power explained (as of this episode, so no spoiler): The Almighty: 1) He can see the future 2) Everything that he sees, he "knows" 3) Everything that he "knows" is POWERLESS before him and CANNOT kill him / harm him This combination makes him invincible in theory. ("Knows" is referring to him comprehending everything within the future he can see, so basically he can comprehend all that he sees in the future and that cannot kill him) IN CONCLUSION: All that he looks at (including the future he can see) is POWERLESS before him. Closest thing to a god in Bleach. He is the ACTUAL son of the Soul King. The attack Ichibe used in the end (should completely erase your existence so rebirth is forbidden), was seen by Yhwach in the future and so Ichibe couldn't kill Yhwach with it. In the last arc, in a flashback, Ichibe used the arm of the soul king to seal away Yhwach's "Almighty" eyes. Only a body part of the soul king can do that. Thats why Yhwach lost to Yamamoto 1000 years ago. His "Almighty" was sealed by Ichibe back then.

Hey guys, hope you're doing all right That scene with senjumaru, she basically sealed the quincys fate (like the thread of fate, it is in the name of her bankai in kanji) you probably know that what happens in her bankai is what will happen to them, but, what about pernida? what connects him with black sand? you see, black sand in japanese is kuro tsuchi, and that's who he'll fight somethings get lost in translation, but it's fun once you get to know the word play also she attacks uryu with traumas lol, first the quincy cross (aschwallen), then hollows (his grandfather's death) and then trappes like one of mayuri's experiment anyway, great reaction
