I actually love the point of Shin saying that of course Sakamoto is afraid to die. So often in shonen series you see the main character shouting about how they don’t care if the die in pursuit of their dream. But here it’s like: no, of course not. Sakamoto needs to stay alive to be with his family.

They dont explain it in the anime. The reason why Sakamoto, Shin, and Lu were not happy when arrived at the themepark is because it is a PERFECTT place for Hitman/assasin because they can camouflage among people there.

One thing I think the manga handled better in Nagumo's introduction was his shapeshifting ability. In the manga you never see him transform, one panel he's Sakamoto, the next he's Nagumo. As a reader I got whiplash and had no clue for a few panels what just happened. Once I realized, it was so cool. The weird blur into Nagumo they do in this episode just doesnt hit the same. They nailed the theme park fight though.

I think it's fine. I think in the animation medium it'd be even more confusing, since with manga you can at least assume that there was a second or so between panels that would allow his transformation (and they were just choosing not to show it) Of course, they could have done the same thing with the anime(with like a sound effect off-screen) but I feel like it would have been a little awkward. On top of that I doubt they're gonna use that same effect every time

I really hope this anime gets the budget it needs on Season 2. There's a lot of really cool things they are trying to do, but just don't have the budget for it. Season 1 is a lot more lighthearted so for now it's fine, but hopefully with this popularity Season 2 will show people how cool Sakamoto Days really is
