They definitely are like a chaotic duo and that's kind of refreshing and hilarious to see. And the fact that they make fun of the same guy they bullied, and then go on to talk about how far he's come makes their interactions even better.

Devon has been an unexpectedly great addition to the series, really since her introduction last season. Her relationship with Tory really adds to both of their characters.

Completely agree. Season 4 made me think that she would just be another female fighter for a bit more representation but just fall into the background with Bert, Nate, Mitch, Chris etc, but they developed her really well this season.

Daniel didn’t tell Amanda about Silver when she knew about Johnny which is not a flaw because Daniel would brag about his victories, and keep out the time Terry gaslit him into being a friend and mentor

exactly, amanda did not have all the information until her cousin told her and daniel was so in his head, he still would not communicate, folks trying to blame amanda just didn't really pay attention, plus she would expect her husband to prioritize things and be more open.

I like how this show is so ridiculous and off the wall but there is still a consistency to it. Like, it's absurd on so many levels, but within the world of the show, the crazy stuff that goes down fits (mostly). There have been a few really dumb moments this season, but the high points outshine those big times. My absolute favorite scene this season was the therapy scene with Kreese and then watching him show them why he's in there for assault (even tho it was bogus charges). I loved the "you don't know me very well" and switch over to young Kreese for most of the action. Really smart way to do that without having to use camera trickery to hide the stunt double. I legit think Kreese is evil and deeply flawed, but they did a great job redeeming him (showing him as a once good guy who stood up for his future love of his life when she was getting abused, showing why his experiences in the war made him embrace "no mercy", showing that he legit wanted to make Johnny better than himself and regretted how things turned out...). My prediction is that when it's all said and done, his final redemption is that he'll do something necessary (but super criminal) to protect Johnny, Tory, maybe even Daniel... he'll do something that crosses the line that the others aren't able to cross because they have families and lives to look forward to. And then, no joke, he'll turn himself in and accept going back to prison, ultimately becoming a force of good of sorts in there by instilling some discipline, order, and meaning to the lives of the other inmates by teaching them the way of the fist and demanding that they protect those who need protecting and requiring them to show no mercy to those who would harm the weak. SENSEI! SENSEI! SENSEI~!

Dan is a hothead but amanda is also impulsive, hot head, got banned from the all valley meetings as she gets triggered by kreese alot. At least daniel has bad ptsd with cobra kai and silver. Nobody is perfect but Amanda could be more supportive instead of running away with the kids...her own cousin told her the deal til she finally got it.

Funny how people think there is an "uncanny valley" on a deep fake ONLY when they know it must be a deep fake. Young Johnny is pretty much the smoothest usage of a deep fake in a show like this. Even better than Luke Skywalker in Boba Fett. You'd have to look VERY close to see it's fake. It's that good. Maybe it's the lighting that helps... I actually thought they used a look-alike for a moment. Really well done. Would be cool to see more stuff like this. They could show flashbacks to the Kreese from KK training a young Johnny. Or show young Daniel.

Y'all don't know but that is what a real Dojo/Dojang/Kwoon is like. Not pilled punches. Thise school are by invitation usually and you have to earn your spot. Training is a commitment to a family of sorts and they beat the ish out of you if you can't hang until you can. The physical conditioning is also usually ridiculous. They train you to fight. You learn to fight by fighting. Traditional Overseas schools unless they are a McDojo are kinds of the same. According to folks that have told me stories about the "real". Most of them military or were trained by military folks who learned that way. Or the ones who trained in the "hole in tha wall", basement, garage, apartment, roof tops, etc. Getting corrected physically/hit is a common practice. It's part of mental conditioning. Different culture: "Martial/War" culture.
