Got damn it feels good to finally have a game that truly lives up to the hype. Hogwarts is the most detailed area I've ever seen in a game, and the sheer amount of content is flawless for a single player game.

@@oriandthesleepytime Hot tip, and this isn't a spoiler, but definitely focus on story missions until you unlock the skill tree. I was 10 levels in before I realized there was one, and it expands the wand combat immensely. Right after that, you get broom access as well, and that's when the game finally felt "complete" to me. It's not many missions in, but I did A LOT of side questing until I realized how much i was missing out on gameplay wise.

There are a lot of mechanics and it may be frustrating to explore such a vast and packed world if every 2 minutes you find a puzzle you can’t solve yet or a door you can’t get through

So, fun fact: if you connected your Wizarding World account, the Sorting Hat doesn't ask the second question, it goes right into the description of which house you should be in. It still lets you confirm, but it was cool to be automatically put into my house without telling it what I wanted.

Not every Slytherin turns Dark, just the fact that the majority of the time since Slytherins lean more towards Ambition, Cunning and Power we tend to take things too far. 🐍🐍🐍 P.S. Slytherin and Griffyndor in my opinion are 2 sides of the same coin.

1:37:30 I think i figure this out - If you pay attention closely, you will notice that there are symbols corresponding to animals species which match numbers from 1 to 10 - They also gave us clues to where there are circles with 1 number (which automatically lead us to think it is a place where we can place an animal symbol) and a circle where there's a couple of number (can be 10 to whatever number) - And i think the purpose is to place the right number and/or the right animal symbol to have the definitive number in those Triangle. So we have to total the sum of all of those.

Yeah puzzle spoilers (not the actual solution but vital piece of information to get solutions) There is a slip of paper near the library annex area beside the arithmancy classroom which will tell you what number each creature represents and the goal of the door is to make all 3 outside numbers sum to the inside number So if the inside number was 5 and the outside numbers were 1, 2 & ? then you would need to find out what creature represents 2 and choose that one (since 1 + 2 + 2 = 5)

I think it CAN put you in the house of your choosing, but most students don’t actually realize this so they never truly fully make a decision. I don’t consider expectations as a choice tho. For example, Ominis and Draco both expected to be slytherin because that’s what their family always was put in so they were too. But it didn’t feel like an actual choice.

Merlin was a slytherin and he wasnt evil at all. Ominis is a Gaunt, family of Salazar and he can be conceated, but as you realized, he is clearly kindhearted and careful. Draco later on was just a boot kisser for Voldemort, purebloods, same for some of the blacks until Sirius Black came. Slytherin house is not evil. Most evil wizards have come out of Slytherin after Voldemort, because he was a Slytherin and gained followers within his house (and others), but it's because Slytherin is ambitious. he did it one time in a fit of rage at the death of his god father and it wasn't even particularly effective as she was able to laugh it off at how weak it was, true it doesn't make him evil but still unacceptable. Freely and willingly using it repeatedly against multiple people will not make you a good person no matter how you play, the only way to do that would be to not use them at all hence why they're called unforgivable

I chose to unlock them (didn’t want to not have them unlocked) but playing my character as a “do whatever is necessary” kinda character. Still a good wizard in the sense that I’m trying to protect and help people but not going to be restricted by arbitrary morality. Never understood why casting bombarda at a person and casting avada kedavra was so different, both will kill the target. Seems that the killing curse just had a random line in the sand drawn. I can kinda understand imperio and crucio since mind control and torture are usually always pretty terrible but I still think imperio is in more of a grey area depending on its use. Wish we had light spells or something (expecto patronum for example) that meant we were choosing which set of spells to get rather than just choosing to have 3 extra spells or not. Great game so probably will be DLC, maybe we will get more spells and alternatives to the unforgivable curses for those that choose not to use them. Also think ancient magic should have gotten a skill tree for spells since all the MC really uses it for is random executes or throwing things.
