I love how the power scaling for this entire series changed completely. Jinwoo just scratched the surface of S-Rank, and now we’re getting truly introduced to these other S-Ranks that are possibly stronger than he is. The biggest enigma in this show so far is his dad who’s clearly way above S-Rank. I wonder what that man witnessed in the dungeon during those 10 years.

@@sirmel11 Things that have been cut, were unimportant scenes, or small dialogues. Some people complain about it, but it's 100% better this way and makes for a better flow. Example of cut stuff in the last episode: When Jinwoo cleared the C rank dungeon, Igris presented the heads of enemies he slain to Jinwoo while kneeling. Iron decided to copy it, and presented the head of the dungeon boss that Jinwoo killed, implying he's dumb. Was funny, but not really important for the story.

From someone who read the source material. It’s the latter. Remember he gets stronger by leveling so he’ll get stronger than everyone eventually but Cha Hae-In at this point in time could probably beat him or at least give him a run for his money.

Chairman Go is basically strong enough that he is the main factor keeping the other S-Ranks in Korea under control, on his own, but his advanced age keeps him from active Hunter work now. Guildmaster Choi's title of "Ultimate Weapon" is very overinflated. Choi is actually fairly average and unremarkable among S-Ranks, and he isn't even the strongest S-Rank in his own Guild, that being Cha Hae, his Vice-Guildmaster. Cha-Hae is the newest and least experienced of the current S-Ranks in Korea, but she is actually the strongest active S-Rank in Korea (after SJW, and Chairman Go, who is inactive).

7:33 this seems like a hard line but it is very different from what was said in the Manhwa and gives a different meaning to it. In the Manhwa the line goes: “Don’t you ever step foot in Korea. I’m not saying this for my son’s sake, I’m saying it for yours. You will never rest in peace, even in death”. So in the anime it comes off like a some bad ass don’t fuck with my son line but in the Manhwa it’s a genuine warning…

Fun fact: the chairman started the association with his own money! (additional fact if you play the arise mobile game you get to see him in action and his back story) Unfun fact: him saying if he was 20/10 years younger he would've fought alongside jinwoo. Him gripping his chest in the general heart area and his comment that an S rank healer couldn't help him shows he only retired" bc his body and also the limitations of hunters. since an S rank couldn't heal whatever was wrong with him (with him placing his hand on his chest guessing its his heart (i know what's wrong i'm just using context clues based on what was shown.) nor slow/stop his aging. also he was kinda hinting at wanting jinwoo to take on his role after he passes since once he passes the association wont be able to stand toe to toe with the guilds.

@arnoldice8079 five days?! Ayyeo that's crazy work. You must play and do everything use up all your keys. (I do not i just do the missions and then some my highest skill is like at a 13?) my only advice focus and level up your mining and clear gates. Use your pink stuff gems that's easily gotten and get more gate keys and use those to finish gates early. Leveling up gates it's so useful.

i have to say: while it is a little sad that we're missing out on a ton of really cool panels and shots from the manwha, i absolutely LOVE the pacing they're taking with the story. they aren't missing any of the major beats, but they aren't stretching them out like *cough cough Toei cough* some other studios tend to do it's really nice to just sit down for an episode and see plot actually MOVE and story events happen one after another, leading us closer and closer to the real big hitters.

I think that what people are missing is that his dad took out an S-Rank with 1 hit, cause at the end of the last episode they explain that the damage an S-Rank can do "Changes Landscapes", but they were lucky it was just a few buildings.
