I think there was some kind of strike against the game industry going on when this season came out, and the voice actors for Omid and Christa were part of it. So Telltale had to find a way to write them off as quick as possible

The dog bite plot is one of the STUPIDEST subplots in this season. Clem is only 10 years old, an infection from a bite like that, not to mention all the blood loss, could very well kill her even if they weren’t in a zombie apocalypse. And it’s like you said Roshi, even if she did die, (whether it be from the infection or the shock from all the blood loss) Carlos and the others should know full well by now that getting bitten isn’t the only way people turn. GOD it’s like the writers forgot their own lore.
