Sanlorenzo never seems to disappoint... some of the most amazing boats out there, literally one of my favorites. This 500 EXP is clearly a toy dispenser... but a very nice one at that.

This is without hesitation the yacht that I would buy. The styling is beautiful, the toys, its ability to have 12 in comfort. The range, whoever gets to buy this, is very very luckly. I would live on it for a year and travel the world with my famiy.

My word. What a visual treat. Not normally a fan of minimalistic italian designs like the SP110 but this owner has beautiful taste. Love the owner's drop down balcony. Great video ! Kudos to Jack, with such exclusive access ... 🇬🇧

Finally, a tour of the camera operators own boat ❤️, seriously though this is the one, you can keep the helicopter but this is the luxury boat for me and my sargo 45 would be for exploring away from the anchored luxury yacht. 👏👏❤️🇬🇧

My guess is that it's one of Al Gore's or Greta Gerbil's little yachts, that allows them to properly get around and teach the masses how to be minimalists.

fell in love with Arrow when it appeared on brokerage 3/4 months ago, stunning interior! edited to add....Why are there so many super/mega yachts appearing with matt black hard tops?? surely black in hotter clime's is not good for heat soak??...also, how many crew on Arrow have toe stubbed the support for the submarine when its off deck lol.....apart from that, would buy it tomorrow.

Constant issue on Sanlorenzo boats. Many many many people speculate that Tristan Mortlock turned down a 1 million signing bonus because the yacht being built was a Sanlorenzo. Supposed to be a yacht for a 4-5 year around the world tour but because of the notorious small crew areas and the massive issues with their boats, he didn't take the job. He has been openly critical of their yachts on his channel and it is something widely known in the industry that these yachts can't keep crew because of the constant issues and also he crew spaces are horrible. I crewed on a Sanlorenzo 115 back in the late 90's and they were even worse back then. The captain had his own 'cabin' on the bridge and that was a Pullman bunk type arrangement and when the bed was up, he coukd use the desk the bad sat on when it folded down. Plus it was a wet head. The crew quarters was 2 cabins near the bow and where the cabins met in the middle, we had a shared semi-wet head for 5 crew. The chef slept on a bed that was above the washer and dryer in a hallway. I shared a cabin with the bosun and the area where my feet went was like an enclosed space and was so cramped that I could not cross my feet or point them up. I was on there 3 months and left. The owner could not figure out why he kept losing people and he was told what our cabins were like, but he said his area was so nice and big, so our area couldn't be that bad. He wouldn't go look. He was on his third captain when he got it. It's just a common thing on Italian built yachts. The European yacht owners don't interact with crew that much or really care about them. They are the reason the Red Ensign Rules exist now.

@@clifbradley Thank you! I am glad I'm not the only one being appalled at the crew areas (living as well as work) in the vast majority of yachts, big and small. I rarely see any comments on these issues, let alone from crew. I rarely comment any more either, as sadly, the video-uploaders seem to take it as criticism on THEM, and not the boat. I don't see why it should be difficult to understand that I can enjoy and appreciate the work they do, and the great tours and videos they upload, AND at the same time have (many) issues with the boat they are showing. So mostly I just sit on my hands. I do not agree that it's mainly European owners to blame. Overboard from all owners regardless of nationalities, I see a complete disregard for the crew... with a handful of exceptions. And the owners aren't the only ones, though they're the ones ordering the boat build. Designers share that responsibility. From what I read/hear from them, they couldn't care less about crew space, aren't even involved, it's just left to the yards to deal with, in whatever little space is left. I do agree that Italian boats are 'worse' on that scale, but the European yards, including Feadship and Lürssen, aren't really that much better. In quality, sure, but not really in the way of assuring good spaces for crew. In defense of shipyards though, it must be said that they just build what they are ordered to build. Personally, my biggest problem with how these boats are built, is with the lack of privacy! That crew are stuffed in tiny bunks in cabins that they must share with at least one stranger (some times of the opposite sex), is incomprehensible to me! They are stuck for months on end on an explorer, overworked (as these are often undermanned), and the only few minutes of privacy they are afforded are when they're sitting on the pot! All I can say to that is: Owners, shame on you! These yachts get bigger and bigger, only to cram in ever more guest cabins, salons, spas, cinemas etc etc. Gigantic owner and guest suites (sorry, but how much space do you need in a cabin you only sleep in?) Ever more elaborate 'wellness areas', beach clubs, and 'toys' now taking the space of what was safe and practical tender storage and launching area, and relocating those to the bow which is unsafe in so many ways. Said bow, that used to be space for crew to catch a breath of fresh air, is now either tender storage or yet another 'entertainment area' for guests. While guest areas grow and multiply exponentially with the length of the boat, the crew areas do not. Galleys with little or no counter space and often without windows. Crew messes with room for half the crew to sit, and that always on benches so all have to get up for one to get out, and again often without windows. Laundry rooms (if at all) with too few machines and no space to sort, fold, hang or iron. Engine rooms you can't stand upright in unless you're 'vertically challenged', let alone easily get to all the machinery you're supposed to maintain (and apparently some designers have never heard of a control room). Dumbwaiters that don't go down to the storage deck (why would they?). Wheelhouses with those wonderful raked designer windows that makes it impossible to see your instruments, limits your view outside (why would you want to look outside anyway?) and turns the space into a hot house. A crew gym? In your dreams! A space outside for the crew to snatch a bit of air/sun in their precious short breaks? In your dreams! And let's not even talk about actually manning these palaces with enough crew for the work load, heck that would take even more space away from the guests. Sorry for the rant, I just had to get it out of my system.

Incredible yacht. Sanlorenzo isn't exactly my favorite builder, Tristan Mortlock's too since many speculate that the infamous yacht he turmed down a million dollar signing bonus for, was this yacht. Maybe not this particular one, but could be. Substandard build quality, noise levels and the worst crew spaces ever. The yacht though, on film looks amazing. The lst tour of this yacht, another channel did it, and it was a disaster. So much stuff missed. Obvious stuff too. Nothing gets past Jack though. He finds all the good, dirt.

You stated 7 crew hahahaha not a chance. You mentioned captain and 1st officer, so that's two crew. Then you will need chief engineer, then at least 2 stewards, at least 2 deck hands and one possibly two chefs. I think a yacht this will need around 10 crew

The helicopter being stored aboard, but open to the elements is a bit sketch. The pilot isn't aboard all the time, which definitely means there's not a full time mechanic aboard. Corrosion control on helicopters near the ocean is no small task. Been a helicopter mechanic for over 20 years, and currently work in Hawaii. So I'd like to think I have an informed opinion

Problem with boats of these size is the amount of staff required to make it function. i'd feel like abit of a tw*t having loads of people do everything for me, i'd like to do it all myself which in this case is just impossible. it's an impressive boat but even if i had 100 billion i'd get something mostly self manageable.
