The X95 looks weird. They say these 2 models are based on the same hull, but the Y95 looks a lot better.

X95 for me. Just like a little more enclosed space. Trust me when in the marina you do not want to be moored alongside and see me out on deck in all the good lord gave me!😢 seen yachts retrieving anchor while in motion! Been asked many times to only sunbath during an Atlantic crossing preferably near the middle! Excellent head to head review, would love to see head to head different brands! That would be hard, but I believe in you! Top job sir!

Hands down it would be the X95 for me. My favorite size boat are the 50 ft range though. Owner/operator as I would prefer no one else on my yacht when I'm on it. Thanks for the awesome comparison.

I love the X95. It's a shame the Country Kitchen is so unpopular. It's, in my opinion, the best layout.

Most people hardly ever dine indoors on these things. I do agree the panoramic views on it are spectacular. However if you want to take advantage of them you have to put up with the crew in the kitchen constantly bashing about. Pershing solves this by moving the galley down to the crew space, which I think is an excellent solution.

I'm posting this comment before I've watched the video because - even though I'm never ever EVER coming close to affording one of these - this exact question has nevertheless somehow bugged me! :-) I.E If you won the Euromillions would you choose an X95 or Y95???? Hmmm I'm looking forward to this one! And, I definitely think you're onto something here by doing a 'head to head' as I’ve really not seen anyone else do this and I’m sure us enthusiasts would love to see more of that! Cheers!

I would definitely take the x95. It gives more space for crew and people in bad weather. There is still plenty of outdoor space. Also the helm is a lot better on the x95 better windows. The raised pilot house on the y95 takes away interior space and the bow is just wasted space with flat bunny pads. You lose all the outdoor space on the bow because it's just a giant bunny pad. Really the x95 has just as much outdoor space as the y95 because the bow is far better on the x95.

I just would love to see a Majesty 72 vs others like the Pearl 72 or... Would be great to see directly as well price wise. As much I like the pearl, even the position of the fridge disturbs me a bit, for the price ( yes with some kind of downgrades) Majesty really fascinating me a lot. If you ever maybe have the chance to make your report of the Majesty 111 would be fantastic ( even its for (( really )) most of us out of reach )

The Y is a much better looking vessel. The styling around the top deck of the X spoils it. I much prefer the practicality of the Y as well as the sunseeker 100 and feretti 1000 as the open fly feeding into the front sunbathing area gives a large one level entertaining space. The upper lounge on the X breaks up the space too much. But I must admit I think the sunseeker and feretti are a better package for crew accomodation and toy storage.

You really think the sunseeker 100 is a better layout for crew. Have you seen the engine room and helm on the sunseeker. It definitely says they don't care about crew. Just saying. You can't even walk around in the engine room or enter it safely. The visibility in the helm is horrible. No offense but I would never want to drive or work on that boat. I have owned 65 ft boats with better engine rooms.

@@brianmiller6443 the sunseeker has dedicated 3 cabin/5 crew which is far more suitable for a vessel of this size. As you see in this vid one of the vessels has had the crew space altered to try and fit in a suitable crew number but eating into the beach club which is all but a novelty which looks like it's stuck in what should be a garage. Tender , jetski and crew accomodation are far better on sunseeker. On a vessel where you're running on the limits of the 24m rule the sunseeker and ferretti push the boundaries where the princess lags behind. I'd be more concerned about my crews comfort in their down time. The review of the 100 from the same reviewer states the engine room is spacious and engines easy to attend to. A young crew would have no issues

Sorry but the X gives you everything you need, but of course the Y would be better if you had larger family on board. I know Jaoa or however you spell his name from Below Deck Mediterranean is/was the captain on an X95. Just him and 2 crew ran the whole charter program and supposedly the yacht can do whatever you want to do, as long as it isn't jet ski.

Why on Earth did they not use the amazing on deck master cabin of the x95 on the Y95??!? The main deck master on the y95 looks tragically like a mobile home room. Ugh, bad bad bad. Put the better master on them from now on. Ugh, terrible decision! Do whatever design alterations you need to do to make that work. I can't express how awful the design of that head forward master cabin design is. Ruins the entire yacht. If Pearl 95 can do it, /and/ have a door accessing a private terrace from there, surely princess can figure it out?
