በጣም የሚገርመው እንዲያውም የሚያናድደው ሁላችሁም ለደረሰው እልቂትም ሆነ ውድቀታችን ምክንያቱ ስህተታችን እንጂ ጥፋታችን ነበረ ስትሉ አትደመጡም እንዲያው ስታስቡት በሶስትና በአራት ሀያል ሀገራት የታጠቀና የሰለጠነ ወደፊትም እንዳስፈላጊነቱ መታጠቅ የሚችል የአየርና የባሕር ኃይልን ጨምሮ በርካታ ሠራዊት ያለውን ግዙፍ ኃይል በነፍሥ-ወከፍ መሣርያ ለማሸነፍ መነሳት እውነት ስህተት ብቻ ነበር ያው እነደሚጠበቀው ያ ሁሉ የደሀ ልጅ እንደቅጠል ረገፈ ይህ ከጥፋትም በላይ ነው ይህን ዛሬ መቀበል እንዴት አቃታችሁ?

ወንድምና እህቶቻችን እንደቅጠል እንዲረግፉ ምክንያት የሆነ ፓርቲ ነበረ። ተጠያቂው ግለሰብ ወደ አውሮፓ ጥገኝነትን ጠይቀው ሲሄዱ አብዛኛው ወገናችን እንዲሞቱ መነሻ የሆነ ፓርቲ ነው።እንደሌሎቹ የኢትዮጵያ ቤተሰቦች ሁሉ የእኔም ቤተሰብ በዚህ ፓርቲ ስም በነበረው ትግል ሰለባ የነበረ መሆኑን ዛሬ ላይ ሆኜ ሳስበው ያንገበግበኛል። በተለይም ኢህአፓ በፈጠረው ዝርክርክ፣ ያልተቀናጀና ያልበሰለ ትግል ስልት መጨረሻው ሳያምር ለደመኛ የኢትዮጵያ ጠላቶች ሻቢያና ወያኔ ትህነግ አሳልፎ በመስጠት ዛሬ እዚህ ለደረስንበት ምስቅልቅል እንድንዘፈቅ ቀንደኛው ተጠያቂ ፓርቲ ነው።

"ለደመኛ የኢትዮጵያ ጠላቶች ሻቢያና ወያኔ ትህነግ አሳልፎ" Wasn't it Derg that handed the country to Shabia and Weyne? How on earth would you blame EPRP for all the atrocities committed by Derg? Unless you were a kid at the time, by what logic would you blame EPRP for "ወንድምና እህቶቻችን እንደቅጠል እንዲረግፉ ምክንያት የሆነ ፓርቲ ነበረ።"? The party was a victim, and the butchers are still roaming the streets of Addis.Hence, your comment a veiled attempt to blame the victim. In short, as the caption of the interview aptly puts it "የደርግ እና ሕወሐት ፕሮፖጋንዳ የ ፓርቲውን ታላቅነት አይቀንሰውም"😀

@@hiwotasfaw3754 Dear sister, your sentiments to the party for whatever reason is understandable. But you have to try to assess the situation objectively being free from bias. Firstly, the EPRP leaders weren't pragmatic on how to deal with the dergue. They chose instead to unwisely antagonize the military regime and contributed immensely to all the unfortunate outcomes that had happened in the country and to the people later. They are to blame together with the dergue and Meison in introducing to the people a very hostile political discourse which resulted in a regrettable bloodbath. What I don't like about most of those people who are currenlty writing books from all the camps is that they lack honesty and objectivity. This has deprived the current generation the opportunity to learn from past mistakes and successes.

I was lucky that I was a bit younger and was also sheltered in a boarding school that I avoided being recruited into ኢሕአፓ…. I remember መኢሶን slogan "ለትሮትስካይት ውርውር የስታሊን በትር" The EPRP fiasco was tragic and is like ልጅ ያቦካው ለራት አይበቃም

የኢህአፓ ትልቁ ስህተት ኢሐሠን ትግራይ ውስጥ ማስቀመጣቸው ነው። መቀመጥ የነበረበት ጎንደር ነው። ያ ቢሆን ጠንክሮ የመውጣት ዕድል ነበረው። ሌላው የኢህአፓ ስህተት የኤርትራን ጥያቄ ነፃ የመሆን መብት ሲያስተናግድ የነበረ መሆኑ ነው። መኢሶን በኤርትራ ጥያቄ ላይ የተሻለ ጥራት ነበረው።
