As a Filipino myself, I love how most of us are intrigued after hearing the words "malayang maya", which means "free sparrow", and "malayo-layo" which means "far away". If you put the words in sentence, it could be about a freed sparrow flying far away, if you put it in literal terms.

Theories on the songs!: 1. About Cole’s backstory and how originally they are from a quiet town/house of yarrow until war/raiders came. They had to go into hiding and eventually escape the destruction and leave everything behind. Like a *rabbit* running from the wolves. 2. About Clementine’s backstory and how they were originally a child of a Baroness (a women of royal/high status) and neglected by her. Clementine is seen as a child only there for appearances, to essentially sit there and look pretty like a doll, a flower, and follow the Baroness’s words like a *sheep*. They are wanting to leave, they are wanting to explore instead of being trapped in their house to rot away emotionally. And so they run away to be free. I BEGGING that more song for the other Larks to come about because they are the two I know the least amount.

Also especially at the “They are left to rot but never bleed” could be showing two things but i’m not sure. 1 being that it’s showing the pain they went through with there neglectful parents expecting to be perfect even when in pain. Unfortunately, I can't understand the full depth of your songs. I have never been able to read between the lines. But after I listened to several of your songs a month ago sitting on a train, passing beautiful landscapes, I realized that I really want. I have been living outside the city for two weeks now. The moment I heard Harpy Hare, I knew Yaelokre was going to be incredible with even more incredible, beautiful music. Yaelokre has truly been one of my main inspirations ever since I managed to stumble upon their music, and having been a fan ever since their early debut and of course, strive to continue supporting. I adore every single song they produce, the songs are made with pure love, raw passion, and overall amazing. An incredible marvel to listen to. I know we're very early into the lore but would like to share a theory I have on how Keath came up with the lark and what they represent. I'm likely wrong, but I still find my theory interesting so hopefully you will too: Cole represents who Keath is currently Clementine represents who Keath wants to be/who they want to become (I get that from a post on Keath's instagram that mentioned how Clemmie has the compassion that Keath tries to have. I'm probably looking into it too much but ay, still interesting) Kingsley represents who Keath used to be, their childhood perhaps And I honestly am not currently sure on what Perrine might represent, but I'll update later if I think of something. The lark could also just represent different parts of Keath's personality, like Cole representing shyness, Clementine representing kindness, Kingsley playfulness, and Perrine seriousness
