Yaesu FT1D firmware/dsp update.

You need to be in DN mode to see the DSP version (it will not show in FM). Anyway, great video. I could not see good documentation on how to update the DSP. Thank you!

My FT1 with older firmware started to display firm error and was dead in the water. Got the last firmware 3.01 and loaded it and came back to life. Yay! Then updated the DSP from 4.10 to 4.15. I think these are the final versions from Yaesu. Restored both the config and memory from the SD card and the Rig is all happy again! :) Thanks for the Video Paul! 73

The problem with the DSP version only showing "." instead of "4.10" was simply to put the radio in digital mode before checking. Thanks to a post on the Facebook Yaesu Fusion page.

Thanks for this video. Anybody have an issue with T00 showing up after the update in digital squelch and know what causes this when the radio is in digital mode? Is there any special new settings with the update?

@@prephampaul yes digial DN and VW both bring up the T00 code in the squelch display spot on the FT1D and the code is also in the digital squelch menu. Perplexed and thanks for your help

@@lorencurtis2054 Does the Software Version screen give the new firmware versions? It isn't in PDN mode correct? Check that your DG-ID is Auto, SQL Expansion is OFF, SQL TYPE is TONE not DCS. Lemme keep looking if those don't work.

@@prephampaul Hi Paul, those setting are good and firmware and DSP are up to date. Radio is working on digital though my openspot hotspot. I can talk and receive. Not sure if it's in PDN mode, I don't know how to check that. email me at [e-mail] and I will send you some pics of my screen and the squelch setting that show the t00 codes. Still waiting to hear from Yaesu on this. Thanks for all your help.
