Hi. thanks for that video, my FT1XDE is now open and I can take it with me to my buisness trip to the US. I used a good magnifier and 2 small soldering irons. You have to take care not to leave any tiny solder blobs in that hole...... All in all easy peasy. HT automatically did a reset on 1st power on after removing that bridge. 73, Thomas DB5FT/P ;)
