Congratulations on a successful repair. An interesting repair awaits me on the FT-450D. The set power of 100 W suddenly drops to 70 W. If the power is set to 95W - no problem. Very interesting, this fault only appears on the 14 MHz band.

Hi there, the radio doesn’t tune on FM (and AM) simply because the tuning dial is disabled by default on the menu. You can enable it if you wish. And normally yes, you can use the multi channel knob to change freq in steps. Someone would say RTFM ;). This is common for Yaesu radios, nothing to do with ITU rules or such. Interesting repair as always. Best wishes Diego
