When these were available new, a couple of amateurs in Luton, G4ENA and G4ENB, produced an internal transverter so they could operate on 1.8MHz. I think the RSGB may have published the design in Rad Com magazine.

Eduardo. It is not mine, I sold it on behalf of my Neighbour. It went for around £170 UKP
