*_I would be a lot more impressed with Ham Radio Outlet if they supplied you with a camera that did not shoot in 360p. Did they find that camera in their attic? I don't think you can even buy a 360p camera anymore. You are trying to promote a high end rig with a very low resolution camera. Plus your audio levels are all over the place. With all due respect it just does not work._*

This is a wonderful outstanding first class radio. But I don’t know why you wanted to start out talking about that horrible 3-D spectroscope that nobody liked at the very beginning. I hope that is fixed with a future upgrade. You must know that’s the most horrible thing on there why should you start with it. I would leave it to the last minute and instead show them all the wonderful good things this rig has.

@@kevinkc3onohelijeepworld953 Sensei means "Teacher" (literally, one who has gone before). Yes, it is indeed used in martial arts - where it means "Teacher". But martial arts is a tiny portion of the places where "Sensei" is used. It's used in schools everywhere in Japan - where it means "Teacher". It's used as a sign of respect to your elders, or seniors (seniors, those who have more experience) - where it means "Teacher", someone from whom you can learn something. It's used by students of calligraphy, tea ceremony, rugby, music and painting - where it means "Teacher". What does "Ham Radio Sensei" mean? It means "Ham Radio Teacher". Why use it? Because it combines my love for Ham Radio and for... yes, Martial Arts, something I've been involved in for 47 years (as of the date of this reply). There, you learned something. Onnegaishimasu.

A few more questions for Yaesu. Why are these radio's, the FTDX101D and the FTDX101MP not getting any of the fine details right? First off, the fit and finish looks alittle cheap. Yaesu radios like the FT-920 and the FT-1000MP Mark V had "gold" inlay around their base feet. This added a touch of "class". The Mark V also had nice rubberized knobs, not cheap plastic like the new Yaesu radios. I could go on, but I won't.
@HamRadioOutlet2 жыл бұрын
Great questions for Yaesu. Let us know what they say. My guess is... they determined a price point and built a radio to fit it.
