Great person, but no...people do not know what assault rifles are by definition, and if you don't have the facts you continue to not win the argument. Your grandfather's ranch rifle was the same type rifle as an AR, but without the black "operator look" ,and when you make a law against that, they will move on to something worse. I'm not sayingnlet them have it their way, I am saying you have to be better at the facts than the gun enthusiast. Having grown up with guns is not enough, you have to be more exacting to win this fight.
