There's something funny about Thomas being the one to win the first game, despite being colourblind.

I made that Yahtzee layout 😢 expanded upon something someone else had made. Looks like I need to update the wood texture for the plate though.
@stephenplays2 жыл бұрын
In fairness, there was absolutely nothing wrong with the Yahtzee layout, just with Yahtzee as a game, haha. I enjoy Yahtzee, but the sudden realization of "oh man how do we make this interesting for a video" was Not A Good™. Maybe we'll revisit the idea of Yahtzee in the future with less people, and possibly in-person. I think that might be just enough to help carry it.

@@stephenplays If it helps, I really enjoy the videos Masae’s done with Yahtzee in Clubhouse Games (oh wait, I mean legally distinct Yacht Dice). But like you said, that’s a lot more automated.

I love Uno. Something about the comical troll-y nature of it just generates hilarious content lol. Some fun rulesets from the Ubisoft version are that 7's let you swap your hand with anyone else's hand on the board, and 0's rotate everyone's hand to the person to their left or right depending on which way play is passing currently(for example if play started going clockwise but someone played a reverse and then the next person played a 0, everyone would pass their hand counter clockwise). There's also insane rules like you draw until you get a matching color card and stacking similar cards like +2 or +4 respectively(but you can't stack a +4 on a +2, on +2 to +2 and +4 to +4), and there is also a jump in mechanic where if someone plays a card, let's say a blue 4, and you have a blue 4, but it's not your turn you can "jump in" and put down your blue 4 and skip the line. You can customize those rules too so you can play with whichever ones you do or don't like. Or hey you can play the traditional ruleset like you are here and it's still fun!

'House Rules' Sets for Uno get so silly. My dad's family is that any +card can be stack with any other. . .leading to, once playing a game where someone had a +22 before the stack ended.

... You guys play with weird rules xD though I know perfectly well that every single person plays Uno with different rulesets. I'm used to having people stack +4s and +2s (+2s on +4s only if they are of the right colour), people missing the turn just with +4s, people being able to play after drawing a card and being able to play more than one card if they are the same number. I know some people that use 0 as a "everybody gives their cards to the person on their right" and 7 as a "swap your cards with a person of your choice". I like my ruleset because it's so chaotic, you can get to 1 card on a turn and find yourself having to draw 16 the next one, but I may be biased of course :P
