Oh wow, what a shocking revelation. The thing we all knew would happen based on the Soska’s previous work happened. This bad story is basically the antithesis to what Eric’s fans supposedly believe in. It’s SO ENTERTAINING seeing people twist themselves into knots to defend a book that’s the epitome of what they’ve criticized in the past. There’s going to be some GREAT puppet shows to come out of this🤣

Again, "Heros" starting fights without a panel of background. I don't remember a single great comic growing up that felt the need to curse. Element of ice? Who talks like that? I've read the first 3 and this seems to be written just like that. Bilking the customers as long as he can. I guess if they were willing to spend $150 an order I'd do the same.

Rippaverse fan here: Just wanted to give my 2 cents on Yaira. Yeah it wasn't good. I gave an honest review of the comic last week and other commentators in this scene have agreed with me on my various criticisms. The pacing is way too fast and somehow still feels slow due to all the repetitive dialogue. Some the of locations are...unclear to say the least, like the mansion which sells q tips and also houses ancient artifacts??? And to make matters worse, Yaira is just not likable. She's not even an anti-hero. If anything she's an anti-villain (occasionally doing a good thing). Very underwhelming for all the hype. That said, Mike Baron is a good writer, so I have higher expectations for Goodyng, even if I'm not too excited for that character going in.
