Jayadrath, Duryodhan’s brother-in-law, does penance for kidnapping Draupadi and is rewarded by Lord Shiva. In the forest, the Pandavas plan their 13th year of exile to live incognito and to work in another kingdom. Nakul tries to fetch water from a lake but is told not to use the water by an invisible voice. He ignores the warning, drinks the water and falls down dead. His brothers meet the same fate except for Yudhishthir answers correctly. The Yaksha reveals himself as Lord Yama and grants back the lives of all the dead brothers.
Mahabharat is an Indian television series based on the Hindu epic.

This story of Yaksha was there in my Hindi Literature when I was in class V. And I still remembered some of the answers that Yudhishthir gave to Yaksha. The Yudhishthir is surely the epitome of truth and patience. No one can be like him as he always puts others before his desires.

Viewers should also note that Yudhishthir was extremely thirsty and tired when he went looking for his brothers. Then he was completely heart-broken on seeing his brothers dead. Inspite of this,he didn't lose his head and gave intelligent answers to all questions. This is why the Yaksh tells him that he has become victorious over grief,thirst,hunger..among other things.

Sometimes we admire and praise salim-javed who wrote sholay's dialogue, the dialogue which actually doesn't have much meaning like ' kitne aadmi the' , 'kab he holy', etc. etc. etc. ( i actually don't blame them because movie is like that) and many movies dialogue which we like but as far as mahabharata is concerned this serial's dialogue is much more marginally ahead of any serial, movie ( of the past and current) and any webseries. Casting and acting is also precede then anyother movie and serial. B.R. chopra made master peace. We are so much thankful to him and whole unit. It is like lord krishna's blessings that every character and dialogue put automatically on its own place. It is like now it seems impossible to make master peace like this 🙏

Dharmaraj is actually Yamaraj, who is the father of Yuddhisthir. Actually, he addresses Yuddhisthir as his son after revealing his identity. Also, he grants two boons to Yuddhisthir after being pleased with him. Out of all the questions, the one about 'who is a true brahmin' caught my interest the most. In the entire Mahabharata, there are at least four stories that emphasize the fact that a brahmin is not brahmin just by birth, but by his character. Similar ideas are found in the Manu Smriti and Srimad Bhagavatam also. Yet we blame the scriptures for propagating the current degraded caste system in India!
