Yakarl is my dude in live arena. I have him built for debuffer with some damage and he does it. I put the guy in Frenzy gear when i geared him months ago, stats over sets kinda thing. Was generally happy with it, have not tested him enough with new changes yet.

I build Yakarl with Speed set (2 pcs) and Stun set (4 pcs). I pair him with UDK Freeze set, Scyl Relentless, and 1 additional champion for damage or debuff remover. So far so good for Arena offense mid game.

I have him paired with Genbo in my nuke team, they do well together but you are right about needing to keep him fast. If we don't go first, the team fails.

I built him high speed and acc for dark fae,, saved his aoe freeze to control/nuke the clones, so very squishy. This same build allowed me to duo spider 24 and 25 in under 45 secs with artak. He never gets hit, because he is so good at crowd control and turn meter

Yannica is a beast since she offers some form of protection with her veil and she can gain extra turn. Her aoe and attack are weaker than yakarls. They are both pretty good a- damager dealers.l, but yakarl is good for fire knight hard and doom tower plus he doesn't weak hit so he has way more value overall. I came back to the game a few months ago and picked yannica first coZ I wanted for faction guardians but now I am close to yakarl finally.

pretty good champ. haven't built yannica or cleo because of him. not only that he brings damage, but even in a full nuke build, the 2-300 accuracy is more than enough in most content (DT hard waves mainly). his damage stacks well up until lower-mid Gold 5 and he's a hard counter to UDK as it negates the damage reduction completely (if UDK survives the nuke, the high multiplier A2 definitely gets the kill).

@@jonsnow7092 such a good wave/control champ. A doom tower hard MVP for sure. Totally underrated. And I do agree with Karato being a hard counter to UDK. Lock em out and keep him stunned for days.

@@kriskluge2826 it's all about his passive. his damage cannot be decreased by enemy masteries (everyone knows this part) and enemy passives (the reason he hard counters UDK). UDK damage transfer works, but not the reduction. if you A2 someone, UDK takes all the damage and dies. if you A1 (triple hitter), it's likely you kill both as UDK will take enough hits to die and the rest will go to the target. and we're not talking about weak UDKs here, these are the ones that survive the A3 opener (most don't). Also he's positive affinity. Karato is also amazing in FK. Used him all the way until the late game, only to be replaced by a Seer team

im still watching this in 2024 but. i have problems with the spider in doom tower and i googled what would be good against that boss and it said stuns and freezes but i didnt have any champion with that kind of aoe so when i saw that i almost had yakarl i was so happy so maybe i can beat that boss with him

Either control, or nuke, he is much better than people think. I would love to see him go up against (non-stoneskin) terrible duo Taras/Marishka, with that irresistible freeze I would think it worth being sheep to take them out for a round to nuke down.

i will help ya out, you need deacon first with a load of accuracy, then focus on speed so you can outspeed your opponent. after that its kinda up to you, but accuracy first, then speed. main acct i have him mixed percecption and swift parry. since he starts the fight with an AoE, stun sets are not terrible, thats how i have my ftp deac built. if you are super early, put him in perception and speed and he will do his job. he also must be ascended so he procs his extra turn. Ascend him, build him with ACC AND SPEED, do not try to build him for damage as that is not Deacon's job. feel free to build up his def and HP, after you get his acc and speed to a reasonable point.

Psylar doesn't need a guide, just build her in stun set, as fast as possible and with high accuracy. after that, focus on defensive stats (HP gloves and Def ring/amulet). Use her anywhere you need a CC bot with TM control.

Astralon only has a .2 higher multiplier on his A3 (Astralon 4, Yakarl 3.8), and considering with him you have to worry about affinity matchups and weak hits decreasing his damage I'd honestly go with Yakarl.
