Yakhni Chicken Pulao: A Traditional Recipe with a Modern Twist

INGREDIENTS:
1 kg of CHICKEN
1/2 a cup of yoghurt
3 tablespoons of ginger-garlic paste
1.5 tablespoons of fennel seeds (coarsely ground)
3 tablespoons of ground coriander
1.5 teaspoons of ground (white) cumin seeds
1 teaspoon of ground black pepper (or whole black pepper)
Juice from 2 lemons
1 bay leaf,
Some nutmeg
1-2 pieces of star anise
4 cardamoms
A few tiny pieces of cinnamon bark
3-4 cloves.
1.5 teaspoons salt
3/4 cup of water
150 grams of desi ghee (clarified butter); or mix ghee and oil
6 chopped onions
2-3 bay leaves
2-3 small pieces of cinnamon bark
Some nutmeg
1-3 cardamoms
1 star anise
A few cloves
A few whole black peppercorns
3 tablespoons of ginger garlic paste
Some paste made out of 7-8 green chillies
Finely chopped coriander and peppermint
1/2 a cup of yoghurt
1/2 a tablespoon of ground fennel seeds
3 tomatoes, sliced
11 cups of water
1.5 kg (7 1/2 cups) of Basmati rice, already soaked
3 1/4 tablespoons salt
For garnish:
Coriander
Some whole green chillies
Half of the fried onions from earlier

When I make biryani I marinate chicken with lemon salt and all mirch powder and yogurt and garam masala powder and marinate it than I add yagkhni and I fry onion than add chicken and when it's fry I use rice in it and 2glass and use chicken ,2glass water and use light flame it cook with,half an hour and make light stream after make plate in to add the rice
