I find his English is fine. His enunciation may be challenging to folks like myself who are not as familiar with his accent as with others. However, knowing this will be a worthwhile presentation, I thought about what would work for me. First, I turned on the captions. Then-having learned from past experience listening to someone whose accent is not one to which I’m used to hearing-I sped up the playback. I can tell you very sincerely that at 1.5x I find the audio much more intelligible, so much so that I turned off captions. I hope others will try this rather than give up on this or other challenging presentations of value.

Hugo Thanks for the tip, it works quite well. I use the opposite approach when listening to someone like Joscha Bach who speaks rather quickly. I find that changing to .75 brings his speech to a normal cadence. I think his thought process is quicker than his speech can keep up with. Cheers.

Yakir Aharonov: "There is a non-local exchange that depends on the modular variable....I'm saying that I have now an intuitive picture to understand interference by saying that when a particle moves through two slits, it always goes through one slit or the other, but it knows which other slit, the slit through which it did not go, whether it is open or not, because there are nonlocal equations of motion." Finally making sense of the double-slit experiment (2017, Aharonov): The nonlocal equations of motion in the Heisenberg picture thus allow us to consider a particle going through only one of the slits, but it nevertheless has nonlocal information regarding the other slit.... The Heisenberg picture, however, offers a different explanation for the loss of interference that is not in the language of collapse: if one of the slits is closed by the experimenter, a nonlocal exchange of modular momentum with the particle occurs....Alternatively, in the Heisenberg picture, the particle has both a definite location and a nonlocal modular momentum that can “sense” the presence of the other slit and therefore, create interference."

@@voidisyinyangvoidisyinyang885 - Seems like Aharonov's explanation would sound more intuitive if recast in the context of Bohmian Mechanics. Instead of claiming the particle somehow "knows" whether the other slit is open, BM would describe the particle as being guided by its non-local Pilot Wave, whose evolution differs depending on whether both slits are open or not. This change in context eliminates the question of exactly what non-local mechanism grants the particle the ability to sense the state of a slit with which it does not interact. In general, I find it helpful to eliminate the need for independent agency on the part of local particles by identifying the origin of their observed behavior in the evolution of the non-local Pilot Wave that guides them.

@@FallenStarFeatures If you want to promote Bohm's views then I recommend studying Professor Basil J. Hiley with whom I've corresponded several times. Hiley emphaszies that Bohm was against the use of "Mechanics" to describe what he realized was an organic process and yes tied to consciousenss. This is why Roger Penrose also uses the term "protoconsciousness" that Bernard 'd Espagnat also used. So Hiley has continued Bohm's research and Hiley now emphasizes a nonlocal noncommutative process as a PreSpace quantum algebra. It is a relativistic quantum model. "Quantum professor Basil J. Hiley, 2016: "Quantum Trajectories: Dirac, Moyal and Bohm" "In many ways it seemed to be a new form of inner energy possessed by the particle, organising the flow lines in a novel way and suggesting a 'formative' cause rather than the traditional efficient cause. ....quantum phenomena emerged from a non-commutative phase space." Bohm's Approach and Individuality, 2016, Oxford University Press: Basil J. Hiley: "There we see that if one of the particles enters the field of a Stern-Gerlach magnet, it is then deflected either "up" or "down" depending on the positions of each particle at the time just before the particle enters the magnetic field. The particle in this field has its trajectory changed, while the other particle continues in a straight line. At the same time both spin components become well defined. This is a surprising result, but clearly shows that the individual parts cannot be thought of as isolated "little spinning spheres," a point that was emphasized by Weyl (1931)."

The video recorder and the light source are using the same electricity power source probably. Thus the light source and recorder are sharing a same informationcommunication channel (the electricity source). Try to use a charged battery powered recorder, this cuts off the information communication channel between the light source and video recorder. Better still, if the light source are also using its own charged self powered different battery source. .. .

We can explains the Two Slit Experiment with the future as an emergent property within the reference frame of the experiment! In this theory the mathematics of quantum mechanics represents the physics of 'time' with the future coming into existence photon by photon within an infinite number of dynamic reference frames. The wave particle duality of light creates an interactive process acting like the bits or zeros and ones of a computer. This forms a blank canvas that we can interact with turning the possible into the actual as the future unfolds photon by photon. The 'observer' in this experiment is represented be photon electron coupling formed a detectors in the experiment. What we see and feel as 'time' is a continuous process (the spontaneous absorption and emission of light) of energy exchange that we see as an ever changing world with an uncertain future unfolding photon by photon. But it is also a ratio of change the greater the energy the greater the time dilation and the slower time will run. Therefore the greater the curvature of spacetime with an increase in gravity with objects free falling towards the greatest energy because it has the greatest time dilation. In this theory the physics of quantum mechanics represents the physics of time as a physical process!
