I still think Majima has one of the best combat styles in the game, because of how his Style Switching works for behind the back combos in Y0. It's not as easy as the Quick Switch armor for Kiryu, but once you switch to slugger which attacks as it switches, going into other styles was fun.

I can see him being in a fighting game, but as it is with Sega and their own fighting game, Virtua Fighter, they're not focused on it at all. Also, the Yakuza series has always been a Beat Em Up video game since PS2.

Tbh, I'd rather all the playable Yakuza/Judgment characters be in Virtua Fighter, Sega's own fighting game, since they can give VF the jump in sale they need to make another VF game. You literally don't even have to go to this effort for combos though, like you can literally just do the full rush combo+barrage of finishers then tackle, rinse and repeat. This also works for all bosses except Arai btw lol.
