Today I've finished the first ride, took me 80 hours and I'm sad for finishing it. This is my first yakuza and I love this game, ichiban have a great personality, history, side quest and this song in the tower truly epic. The game of the year for me.

I really am debating on trying to do a 2nd win on True tower just because the music and Amon-EX was such a fun fight! I'm pretty happy to that I managed to beat him with the team I liked the most. Nanba's debuffs and Saekos healing were an absolute MUST to enable people for surviving and Sacrifice stones were a godsend for the lazer!

This game is fantastic, as a long Final Fantasy fan I can say this game is 10x better than FF7R. The grind, the battle system, the jobs, the "summons", the main story, the substories, the exploration, the conversation between the characters, the freedom, every RPG aspect fits fantastically well for the real world aspect of the game. I would NEVER had imagined to play as a Homeless in a rpg and I was in love. This game is my personal GOTY.

Be prepared when heading to the Millennium Tower, as once you enter, you will be locked into the endgame, with no more chances to do substories, buy items, or grind until the postgame. You will find no opportunities to save in the tower, so if you die and don't continue, or you turn the game off, you'll have to start the climb over from the beginning.
