I’m a huge yakuza fan, and for me, it started with Judgment on PS+. I honestly played every game in the Yakuza world this year and waiting on the Pirates game.

Oh Judgment is a treat! It has less goofy stuff for sure, but the combat is clean, the new minigames are nice too. I hope you enjoy it! I also played with the dub because I like Greg Chun (Yagami's VA) and it didn't bother me too much because it's a new cast, so I didn't get attached to the Japanese VAs

Personally i think that RGG Studios are the only game company that keeps getting better and better each game, and Judgment is no different, a banger of a storie and gameplay (aside from the ''follow missions'')

btw, the english or japanese dub thing, don't think about it too much, they are both great dubs.

I play Judgment in English but gotta play the OG series in Japanese because no one can do Kiryu or Majima like Kuroda and Ugaki.

damn i'm early, so hype for this bro, as a spin-off they are CRAZY good edit right after the start: english is fine for the most part but as someone who always played japanese it feels wrong, nothing wrong with it if you like it more though

I recommended playing all the yakuza games up to 7 before you start lost judgment because it spoils a huge plot point that comes from 7
