Ichi really is someone everyone should strive to be. The man is 42, got betrayed by THE person on his life after spending just shy of 20 years in the joint for them, and got his entire world pulled from under him. And yet, the dude is still a happy-go-lucky optimistic loveable dork. Theres a comment on the ichiban ka lyrics video that i think summerises him perfectly: "Fun fact: if you dont like ichiban as a character, youre lying"

Things are boring, or you're stuck at work, or school, or someplace you don't wanna be. Now imagine that's every. Single. Day. Wake up when they tell you to. Eat when they tell you to. Do menial labor for no pay. Sleep when they tell you to. All with the hope that the person you're doing it for is proud of you. Only to get out at long last and... There's no one there.

Loved this games storyline, music and everything so much. They also did a great job having Kasuga Ichiban as the new protagonist. I had my doubts at first from playing the other previous Yakuza games, but i have to say, i think this one is not my favorite out of them all.

That one part in 'The Four' reminds me of this track. Seeing as this is basically Ichi's theme, I wonder if they did that to represent how Ichiban showed Kiryu that he has friends he can rely on.
