The funniest part about Hangman though is that he uses stock monster sound effects and I can't unhear them.

I think the most terrifying part about the Hangmen (besides the sheer panic of having to explain myself out of an "it's not what it looks like" situation) is that there's more than one, some capable of complex motor function like with the one that catfishes you in that Dating App Mini-game from Infinite Wealth. Next thing you know they'll be playing Mahjong! As Yakuza fans, we can all agree you need a PHD in Theoretical Physics to understand that shit. Fear the Hangmen, they're learning, adapting, evolving! Anyways uh... Good video dude, lookin forward to where you'll take this next 😂😂😂

I like to think that Hangman is more like a symbol of greed and lust in Kamurocho, not an actual person. He resides in an ex soapland, and dresses like that because every other shop in Kamurocho is a sex shop and/or a bordel.

Some drugs can lead to very bad psychological issues. If you have a bad trip on something like LSD for example you could be left as a paranoid wreck for the rest of your life. Perhaps hangman had such a bad addiction that it left his mind stunted after having way too much of a dose. I like the AD-9 theory a bit more though, it's pretty cool.

A good mystery episode candidate would be organisations or clans that are one-offs or who disappeared after their introduction. Like how the Nikkyo Consortium vanished for a while after zero.

Man the re4 between chapter ost made me feel nostalgic and at ease. Weirdly enough it's the same feeling when I play Yakuza 3 Okinawa map or Mario sunshine (these last two games i only played them as an adult).

Huh, that's pretty interesting take. I am not sure, if Yakuza has this Kojima over the top world writing, but I wonder, if there are any mysteries, intentionaly left to be discovered by players. Would be cool, I love game theories (=
